FC GIRU 2023 (Click to View) League Table ~ Squad ~ Finances I've managed to land a J3 League team who are overperforming at the moment, media prediction is 11th anf they are currently 3rd. I'm hoping to continue their good start to the season, we're miles away from top of the league but I'm hopeful we can try and catch up 2nd. I've not done too much tactics wise though so far so could be a bit ambitious looking up and not down.

I want as many options as possible when I start or in the earlier periods of the save. As I complete a league etc I set them to view only, So the deeper I get in to the save it really isn't to bad at all. I do the reverse of what normal people do.

I have a good routine and I could probably do a season per week which should give me half a chance. I'm looking at starting in Japan this year, I'm a little sceptical about it as I've heard it's a very basic league addition and there could be some bugs. I'd like to try it out nontheless.

HEDNESFORD TOWN 2023/24 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2024 Key Players: Levi Amantchi ~ Demi Akinwe ~ Billy Fewster ~ Matthew Hall ~ George Heaven Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats ~ Transfers LEAGUE TABLE Results: National League North ~ National League North II ~ FA Cup ~ FA Trophy A very mixed season for us in our first season, a lot of tinkering which led to a lot of good and poor patches in the season. I feel I've settled on how I want to play now throughout this save, I've not played FM for a while due to my laptop breaking last year so I'm still getting use to the new features and scouting etc. Overall I'm happy with a mid table finish, it'll be difficult to build on that though as when contracts expire I'll still be maxed out on my wage budget. I'm a little concerned as my finances are shockingly bad already (as expected at this level), I just weren't expecting them to be this bad until the end of next season. I'm looking at completing this again this year, last year I completed it only buying UK/Irish players this year I've changed the focus, it will make it easier but loaded a much bigger player base. I want it to be more of a fun save this year instead of a stricter rule type challenge as I have less time.

I'm unsure what happened in the second half of the season at the end of results it was a lot of "we should of won with the chances we created" etc. We were the better team in the majority of the matches but for some reason our form became really inconsistent. I'm not sure where to go from here in terms of this squad, I'll probably give them another season and see how it develops and go from there. As expected in the Champions League we didn't really get that far, thankfully had a nice group and we gave Chelsea a good go too. In the Pokal semi final it really could have gone either way and just summed up our second half to the season. SPAIN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2048 And last but not least Spain, without the S! As you can see from the xG in the first screenshot it's a game we should of won realistically, hitting the woodwork 2 or 3 times didn't seem to help and this just summed up my season over all. That's two losses in finals of the European Championships and seems like the game doesn't want to let me win one. Spain haven't sacked me but I may move on to try and do Asia Cup as I think that is next year before the World Cup, if not I'll stay here as the Euro's and Copa America have both just been played and are not for another 4 years anyway. VFB STUTTGART 2046/47 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2047 Key Players: Fernando Jose ~ Filip Cosic ~ Mohamed Ben Ammar ~ Esau Llera ~ Florent Steiner Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Bundesliga ~ Bundesliga II | Europa Conference League | DFB Pokal We managed to make some excellent changes to the squad to the point where I may not do much in the next window, think it's just a case of letting them develop and this team will become good enough to win the Bundesliga. We had opportunities to take a bit of a lead in the Bundesliga this season but every time Bayern slipped up so did we. Then we hit a bit of a poor patch towards the end of the season to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race. I feel this team needs to do better against the teams around us, getting some heavy losses in the process. I was extremely disappointed in the performance in the Pokal as I felt that was something we could give a real good go this season so to get knocked out second round was poor. We also got to the semi final of the Europa Conference League which is further than expected as I didn't take that too seriously at all, I'm dreading our performances in the Champions League with struggling against teams around us in the league, the higher quality in the Champions League could result in some heavy losses and will affect morale for a league title push. I'm fairly confident, I have quite a bit of spare time before FM23. I've also picked a bad time to deviate from a tactic that I know works, but I really want to try and get a 5-3-2 to work, so it'll be interesting and close.

Finally got my first international job in 5 years with World Number 1 Spain! For some reason the South American teams are avoiding me and the Asian jobs aren't coming up too often. I'm just pleased I have a chance to work towards the Euro's before going on to finish the other areas.

VFB STUTTGART 2045/46 Club Overview ~ Competition Overview ~ Squad Overview ~ Finances So it took me a long time to make the decision to leave Schalke when this job became available as I really didn't want to leave unless it was a Dortmund Liepzig, Bayern type team, but the more I looked at the squad values at Stuttgart compared to Schalke I felt I had to leave, they also had a good young defence that could be there for the next 10 years if they develop. I feel I'll be able to compete with Stuttgart within 3 seasons whereas at Schalke with their debt, I don't think I'll be able to compete for a while, I have kept that save file though hoping to do more with that Schalke save before FM23. We had some excellent unbeaten spells this season which bodes well for the future. Sadly we missed out on Europa League due to Hamburg winning the DFB Pokal. One thing that I need to address is the squad size, I've been given a budget of £45M and through a few sales I think I could get that to around £115 - £120M which will give me a chance to add a little bit more quality and a lot more depth. I'm not sure what my targets are for next season I'm aiming for the same again hoping to be top 6, it'll depend on this crucial transfer window. Bundesliga II | DFB Pokal Well this for sure is not a promotion I was expecting, we didn't make it easy at all and thankfully the last 8 or 9 fixture went in our favour with all the top teams needing to play each other. We didn't hit the promotion spots until there were 4 games to go and it seemed like everything was going to fall in to place for us, I'm terrified of playing in the Bundesliga next season though we will just focus on attempting to beat the teams around us. So the board have decided to go ahead and build a smaller stadium for £160,000,000?! To put the club in to even more debt totaling £300,000,000, whilst I'd normally enjoy this sort of challenge I'm simply running out of time before FM23, so I'm going to remain at Schalke for the time being but if a half decent job become available next season in the Bundesliga I'll be applying for it. Schalke 2042/43 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2043 Key Players: Benjamin Razak ~ Frank Kummer ~ Lukas Balis ~ Rian ~ Dusan Bozovic Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: 3.Liga ~ 3.Liga II | DFB-Pokal So the first think that was a shock to me was how bad the finances are at Schalke, they're getting 30,000 fans per home game thought they'd be on a solid footing. They have debts that they're currently repaying £350K per month until 2056 so this challenge will be bigger than I originally thought. We did however have an excellent intak so I'll be looking to bring in money where I can and start trying to develop some of this youth as early as possible. In terms of form we had an excellent start winning our first 5 then we didn't win for the next 5 but we won our final 5 to finish the season strongly. Liga II So we managed to replenish the squad somewhat bringing in some frees and moving on some players, as you can see we have the bare minimum squad with a lot of youngsters who I've tried to give as much game time as I can. We still managed to go on to win promotion which is crucial to our financial problems as the prize money in 2. Liga is huge compared to getting nothing in the 3. Liga. For some reason we weren't involved in the DFB-Pokal this season, hopefully that corrects it self for next season. I'm aiming just to stay in the league for a few seasons to get back on to a sound financial footing which will be incredibly hard using mostly youngsters. This popped up at the end of the season which has surprised me as we're £10,000,000 in the red at the moment. I'm not sure if we can sell this stadium and build a smaller one for cheaper to make some profit may be wishful thinking. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out considering a few days later we got this message... we're very close to administration which will leave the board taking control of bids, thankfully our most valued players have signed new deals so hopefully it will help us chip away at the debt. I'm looking forward to this challenge though hopefully I can get a new contract before next season as mine has 1 year left. I've tried getting a new one but because of finances, I'd like an option in FM where in situations like this you can offer a reduction in your contract to sign a new one. SCHALKE 2042/43 Club Overview ~ Competition Overview ~ Squad Overview ~ Finances Well, this came around a lot quicker than planned, I left Santos and around a week later Schalke popped up as insecure, I declared interest and they pretty much sacked their manager instantly, I did ideally want to finish off domestic cups first but I couldn't turn this project down. This was a project I wanted when I saw they were in 2 Liga for a while, let alone when I saw they were relegated to 3 Liga, I didn't think this job would come up again so soon as I expected they'd walk it but they don't have that great of a team and the board even only want a mid table finish. Then over the next 3 seasons they want us to work toward qualifying for the play-offs so I don't feel much pressure here. CLUB WORLD CUP, HERE WE COME!

Santos 2041 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2041 Key Players: Jair Diego ~ Wellerson ~ Ademar ~ Bruno Felipe ~ Victor Luis Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Serie A ~ Serie A II | Copa Libertadores | Copa Do Brasil | State Championships Walking in to this squad I was really happy had an excellent mixture of youth and experience, I felt we done all we could achieve this season, managing to win the Copa do Brasil and gave a very good account of ourselves ready for the next season. I just really needed to keep hold of my key players, with a few additions we'll be a force in this league. Santos 2042 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2042 Key Players: Jair Diego ~ Pedro Arthur ~ Claudinei ~ Wellerson ~ Alfredo Federico Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Serie A ~ Serie A II | Copa Libertadores | Copa Do Brasil | State Championships I finally won the Serie A in Brazil it only took me 5 attempts at two different clubs but we finally done it. We actually had a clean sweep we won everything barring the State Championships which nobody cares about. We had some dodgy moments throughout the season but we managed to regroup and get results when it really mattered. With the squad I inherited I only wanted to make a few additions and I was happy but that's not how it works in Brazil had about 7 players leave that I wanted to keep but thankfully we replaced them adequately and still went on to have a fine season. Also this was a World Cup year and many jobs became available but literally nobody offered me a job, I've had issues with international management on this save in the fact they don't even show on my Job Centre page, I can only apply through the job security page as that's the only place they show, not sure if it matters where I manage at the time I apply either could be something to do with that. As for my next job I think I'm going to get these two domestic cups out of the way, then I want to find a project in Germany since I think Bayern have won the league every year since this save has started. MEXICO GOLD CUP 2041 INTERNATIONAL PROGRESS (Click to View) CAREER STATS (Click to View) We have our 3rd international trophy locked up putting us half way there on that front, I can almost taste the finish line with 10 trophies left to get overall. We were pretty comfortable as you'd expect in this competition with only one team really a threat in the USA who we managed to beat in the final, I've resigned from Mexico as it's a World Cup season and hoping a better international job will come up after that to help me complete one of the other sections in the international side of the challenge. SANTOS 2041 Club Overview ~ Competition Overview ~ Squad Overview ~ Finances When I started this save way back when, I started in Brazil and while I managed to win the Champions League, I was unable to win a league title or the cup, so once the Santos job became available I knew I wanted to go back and finish what I couldn't at the start of the save with two 2nd's and a 3rd. Another positive is that they're still in the cup for this season so hopefully we can get that in the bag this season so I don't need to focus on that the season after.

JUVENTUS 2039/40 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2040 Key Players: Hakim Darfalou ~ Joel Wellers ~ Mamadu Camara ~ Fabrizio Corti ~ Rolly Wissa Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Serie A ~ Serie A II | Champions League | Coppa Italia As expected we went on to win the league pretty comfortably, I weren't expecting much from this team in the Champions League this squad is not even close to competing and the Champions League is not a Priority anyway. It was the Coppa Italia that annoyed me dominating and them scoring their only shot on target with a 25 yard strike top corner. I'm going to stay one more year to attempt to win the cup as I do want to win a cup in top 5 major leagues too. ENGLAND EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2040 A gutting end to my time with England, we looked set to win a World Cup and Euro's back to back being 1-0 up in the final against Spain with 86 minutes gone and we concede an equalizer. Then in extra time not much happens looking like we're heading to penalties and the only highlight of extra time they score in the 117th minute to end our hope of back to back international tournaments. I decided to resign after that as the next tournament for England was the World Cup which we've already won. I've now taken over Mexico who have the Gold Cup in 2041 hopefully we can go on to win that and assess what I need to do from there. Also the FM gods weren't against us in the Coppa Italia this time around and we managed to get the main trophy we needed for this season. I think for my next stop will be Germany. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN 2038/39 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2039 Key Players: Giordano Zuccaro ~ Anicet Kone ~ Ivan Radic ~ Daniel Bialek ~ Thomas Hillen Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Ligue 1 ~ Ligue 1 II | Champions League | Coupe de France In a season where domination was expected domestically, we delivered losing only 2 games as we went on to win Ligue 1 and Coupe de France. The surprising one was going on to win the Champions League as well, we had a good enough squad to compete but felt it wasn't good enough to win the whole thing but we managed to do it, it was fitting that our finalists were in our group stage where we both won a game each, the final was pretty dull but pleased to squeeze the victory out. As you would expect I'll be looking to move on from PSG no big jobs available but I hope that changes when I leave my role. CLUB PROGRESS (Click to View) CAREER STATS (Click to View) JUVENTUS 2039/40 Club Overview ~ Squad ~ Finances So thankfully the Juventus manager went on to take my old job at PSG paving my way to finally do Italy, the squad on the whole looks okay maybe a few additions to help strengthen, I'm not expected this to be a walk in the park like in France with teams such as Inter, Milan, Napoli, Roma etc. In my first season I'm not going to make major changes and if I don't won what I need then I'll look at making larger scale changes the season after if needs be.

ENGLAND WORLD CUP 2038 11 years after winning my first international trophy, I finally have my second and it's the big one! England have won the World Cup for the first time since 1966, it could not of gone any better either, beating Brazil in the final who sacked me. We were comfortable all the way through this tournament, the biggest threat was actually Mexico who luckily got a red card to help us squeeze past them. Spain never really threatened and Brazil got a late consolation goal, thankfully nothing more than that. I'll be staying on with England to hopefully go on and win the Euros in 2040. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN 2038/39 Club Overview ~ Squad Overview ~ Finances The PSG job finally became available as their previous manager who was there since 2026 finally decided to leave and take the Spain job, I'd already resigned from Villarreal and looked set to become Benfica manager until this job popped up on my inbox. I'm hoping this will just be a one season job and I can win the League and Cup at least, if we can add the Champions League to that then excellent but I really don't need to do anything to this squad it's already a quality team.

Villarreal 2036/37 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2037 Key Players: Matthias Otto ~ Franklin Abadaki ~ Enes Obadasi ~ James Hahn ~ Stefan Blok Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: La Liga ~ La Liga II | Europa League | Copa Del Rey Very happy with my first season in charge at Villarreal, finishing 2nd and going on to win the Copa Del Rey without conceding a goal I just noticed. Matthias Otto and Franklin Abadaki costing a combined £80M was a steal granted £70M went on Otto. I wanted Abadaki and Vitesse but felt a few attributes let him down but boy did he prove me wrong in a much tougher league. We had an okay in Europa League losing out in the Quarter to Arsenal. I also felt our team were missing 3 or 4 players to complete the squad already to compete on all fronts so I don't plan on making many changes next season. Villarreal 2037/38 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2038 Key Players: Matthias Otto ~ Franklin Abadaki ~ Benson Siame ~ Hermann Kabeya ~ Stefan Blok Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: La Liga ~ La Liga II | Champions League | Copa Del Rey So we made the few additions we needed to our squad and boy did we get off to a good start in the league winning our first 16 games I think, and we eased in to a 13 point lead, at some point that dropped to a 6 point lead but once we were knocked out of the Champions League by one of our previous employers in Chelsea we seemed to regain form and pull away again. We managed to make it back to back Copa Del Rey wins as well which is always nice, we did lose a couple of players in January too which limited our squad again but it didn't affect our season at all really. I have the World Cup coming up this year and I'm not sure what I'll do from here again, I really like Villarreal so I may stay to try and win the Champions League with them, one of the reasons I might move on is I don't like doing transfer windows while involved in an international tournament. SBV Vitesse 2035/36 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2036 Key Players: Vedran Stamenkovic ~ Josip Matijasevic ~ Victor Mandarino ~ Daniel Bialek ~ Andrew Sinclair Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Eredivisie I ~ Eredivisie II | Europa Conference League | KNVB Cup After a tough first season in charge at Vitesse almost getting the sack, we managed to rotate the squad and find some absolute bargains ready for my second season in charge and it duly paid off. Vitesse will be set up for the next few years financially with the players in that squad. We managed to win the league comfortably, sadly we lost to Ajax in the semi final of the cup and we got hammered in the final of the conference league. I'm pretty pleased with the season and I was going to stay to get the cup but I want to keep making progress in this save, none of the big jobs in the main leagues are coming up very often so completing most of those leagues will take 3-5 years to rebuild and overtake the major sides so decided to leave for another club. Can see this taking me a long time to win though, I still need to win the Champions League in Europe yet and not sure what club I'll want to stay at long enough to do. I'll either go back to Wolves for it or I'll do a team in Germany or Italy I think, obviously if I get the chance to win it at any club I'll take it. SBV Vitesse 2034/35 Club Overview ~ League Table ~ Squad Overview ~ Finances So after leaving Chelsea and being able to get the Brazil job I was was going to be patient for my next job unless something excited me and I realized I still need to go to Holland, Portugal and Argentina in order to complete this challenge so when Vitesse came up sitting in 14th with a media prediction of 4th, I thought this this would be a nice little challenge. Vitesse have an okay squad and with Ajax being totally dominant, I'd like to try and knock them of their perch for a season. One of my issues for the first part is I don't have a left back so I'm already looking forward to January!

CHELSEA 2033/34 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2034 Key Players: Thomas Fleury ~ Eric Riviere ~ Jonathan Bassini ~ Angel Perez ~ Matthew Bevis Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Premier League I ~ Premier League II | Europa League | FA Cup | EFL Cup So since I took over Chelsea mid way through last season, we had an ageing squad with some good value which gave me a chance for an overhaul and boy did I overhaul. The first transfer window was the busiest of the two but I felt I had a squad of competing after that window. In the second window we added a little depth and a top Centre Back to complete the squad. We went on to win the League and the FA Cup, the league looks more exciting than it actually was Man Utd were 6 points behind with two games left and we had by far a better goal difference. I was going to stay at Chelsea to attempt to win the Champions League but I haven't been on FM properly for 2-3 months so I'm going to move on and see what jobs become available. It's also a World Cup year this season so hopefully plenty of jobs become available after that. SHANGHAI PORT 2032 Manager Profile: Crowy - 2032 Key Players: Davide Magni ~ Lu Jiarui ~ Alejandro ~ Ali Abdel Rahman ~ Daniel Dionisi Squad: Overview ~ Match Stats COMPETITION OVERVIEW (Click to View) Results: Super League I ~ Super League II | FA Cup CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (Click to View) Group Stage ~ Champions League Results Another comfortable domestic season, for a short period I thought I was going for my second invincible season in this save, but it weren't to be. Since leaving Brazil I've found this save a little easy so hopefully there will be bigger challenges ahead when I move on to Europe and on the International scene (which I'm struggling to get a job for). In China if you get the right team with the right finances you can build any sort of team you like. In the Champions League we managed to win with ease and in all the knockout rounds we went through without even conceding, I was quite surprised that all of the knockout rounds were one leg, it worried me slightly but thankfully there were no shocks for us this year. Moving forward I've already to agreed to join Chelsea, I wanted to move on regardless of if we had won everything or not but thankfully we managed to win what I needed. CLUB PROGRESS (Click to View) CAREER STATS (Click to View) CHELSEA 2032/33 Club Overview ~ League Table ~ Squad Overview ~ Finances So when I saw the Chelsea job became available, I decided to have a little look to see if it was a job I was interested in doing. I don't normally agree to jobs before I complete what I need, but looking at Chelsea's squad there are a lot of players 29+ and it's a project I thought I'd enjoy. If things had gone pear shaped in China I would have had to go back but it worked out well all things considered. Chelsea are also the current Premier League holders and sit in 11th after 13 or so games in the season, I think they also have the best striker in the game in Thomas Fleury going by his value which was around £300M it has seemed to of dropped now I've taken over but he is someone I want to build this team around. I'm also going to be trying to create a new formation as so far I've rotated between the 4-2-3-1 and 5-2-3 Wide. Thankfully when one didn't work for my team the other was excellent, not sure what I'll try next...
