  1. Thanks, you guys! Glad people are generally enjoying this years edition, and that very few seem to be experiencing any problems with it, so I don't have to be explaining how to install correctly all the time I'm currently playing with a half-made new version of this pack, and that is promising to deliver even more enjoyment. However, I will probably not release any new version until FM15 comes out. This is because I have a LOT of work to do to fix up the Asian hair category, which is quite bad currently (in my own opinion). I'm working on replacing pretty much every hair I have in that category, and it's taking some time to find good sources to use for hair. But, just thought I'd let you know that the next version promises great things... whenever that comes out.
  2. There are some errors in this file it appears. Clubs are being promoted to J3 and JFL, but neither of these leagues are relegating any teams... meaning the number of teams expand by every season. Even when trying to run only J1 and J2, these problems are being simulated. This needs to be fixed. Or... wait a minute... Just looked at it in the editor, and this has set up different rules for a number of changes over the course of the years 'til 2024... how is this supposed to work? I very much doubt that the Japanese football has been planning these changes ahead in real life... could someone please explain what this is all about?
  3. I remember loss of player histories used to be an issue when running anti-virus software on older versions of FM. So maybe something was running on your computer that corrupted the save when you last saved it. Can't say what exactly caused your issue, except that it cannot have been the hair pack. Check the bugs forum and see if there are other reports of lost histories. If not, you should post a bug report there.
  4. Are you sure you didn't do anything else at the same time? There simply is no possible way that this file would affect player histories in a save game.
  5. Thanks, guys. I'm continuously working on the next version. I cut faces for facepacks, and when doing so I keep the hairs I want to use. It'll be a while still before a new version comes out, as I'm in the process of replacing all the "bad" hairs.
  6. This is only hair for the FaceGen faces. Make sure you have "show pictures of generated players and staff" ticked in your preferences.
  7. Glad you guys are enjoying the pack. I see that "bald regens" thread in General Discussions brought the attention to a few new users to this pack. Guess I'm not doing a good enough job promoting the existence of this (though it received well over 25.000 downloads last year). Do spread the word! I know how much it adds to the game's longevity, and hope more people get to enjoy it. NaySmith - if I'm not mistaken, I thought I read that you got it working in that other thread?
  8. As the creator of the above mentioned hair pack, I thought I'd step in and explain about the excessive amount of balds. All those baldies are actually NOT bald. The problem lies in the scarce number of hairs provided in the base game. If you look at the 3d match engine, you'll see that pretty much all of those bald players show on the pitch with a variety of hair colors. When applying my pack, this problem is reduced by about 80-90% - the "false balds" are very rare, and instead you'll find the occasional real bald - using my pack they may have a bit of facial hair to go with their baldness. I started creating this pack a few years ago because I couldn't stand the lack of variety. It is absolutely essential for long term saves. Check it out here: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/372486-RELEASE-OLT-Expanded-Hair-Pack-v4.0-The-Complete-Edition
  9. Thanks for that info. I'll keep that in mind when someone else has issues.
  10. Nice Glad to hear it... What was wrong? Always good to know so I can help others if they run into trouble.
  11. The only thing I can think of right now is that you've been using the Steam Workshop. If at any point you added the Hair Pack to the documents folder, the Workshop may have been copying stuff from it and there's a config file that messes up your settings. Check the Workshop folders and see if you have any of my stuff in there? In that case... remove. I really don't know how I can help you, as there is no reason it wouldn't work for you (as long as you don't have any conflicting mods... which you don't). What it sounds like, though, is that you've not clicked the "Clear Cache" button and closed the game - restarted the game without cache and reload on confirm. It is absolutely necessary that you click that button (not just the check boxes), and confirm that you want to clear the cache. Since you're not seeing a change at all - that sounds like the only possible explanation... provided it IS installed correctly. Could you post a screenshot of your Facegen/Hair folder (including the path) so I can have a look? Glad you're enjoying the pack. Yes, the bald problem has been significantly reduced in this version, and I believe that the more I add to this pack in the future the more the problem will diminish. I can't for the life of me figure out why it happens at all though, since there's really no reason for it to happen. Hopefully, though, as I add more it will become so rare you'll hardly ever come across one of them while playing.
  12. Well, I can't say why it's not working for you. If everything's installed correctly, and cache's cleared and reloaded - the mod should simply work. Are you using any other mods that alter regens? Such as the face replacements? Have you installed through Steam or in your own directory? Also... you have placed the pack in the Install Directory of FM, rather than My Documents? (Just checking since you mentioned facepacks and logos) Not overwritten a single file? I'd like to help you get this working, but I'm going to need more info to be able to figure out where you're going wrong.
  13. I didn't make this tutorial myself. Only found out about it today - but the guy does a great job of explaining and showing the exact steps to take. If you follow this to the letter, it should work for you: Hope that helps.
  14. 670: Did you get it to work? wkdsoul: Honestly - I have no idea. I believe someone made a file with full face cutouts that were replacing my hair images, and using the same config file - so obviously that one wouldn't work. But, I believe you're talking about the file on Susie for which you edit config files to add the cuts to your game. I've never tried using it to see if that would override the facegen image or not, so I guess you could just try it out. As long as you don't overwrite any of my files, it would just be a matter of removing the other mod should you not be happy with the results.
  15. Makes our jobs as manager all that much harder, doesn't it -------- Thanks everyone for you continued support.
