I am getting the same with all the tactics I've tried so far, add the fact I keep getting messages that players need to be rested. I'm going to need a squad of 1000 players just to be able to rotate

I am having a go with this setup in my Beta save, to see how it goes. I plan on using it in my main save once the game is released.

I have always been a fan of 442 and loved how Atletico Madrid played because it has always been so disciplined.

Hopefully this style of play can serve me well for a very long time in game.

I loved this tactic in FM21 so have done a couple of holiday tests before I actually invest some time into the game.

First test was with Brentford as they have possession play as a club vision.

Didn't do too badly.

10th position (predicted 18th )

Most passes completed and joint 1st pass accuracy.

4th in total possession.

I also did a quick test with Ajax

Finished 2nd (predicted 1st)

Dominated possession, passes and accuracy again.

Ajax were very good defensively as you'd expect.

The only issue seems to be chance creation and conversion. Obviously Brentford are not expected to created hundreds of chances, but with Ajax we were a little way down the table for chances created, clear cut chances and chance conversion.

I'm loving the style of this tactic. It's exactly how I like to see football played.  Only issue I am having is how often the opposition has a 100% shots to goal ratio

Do you base your tactic use off of the start of season predicted finish or change throughout the season as teams predicted finish changes dependant on form?

I am wanting to change things up in my current save and switch formation from my current 4-4-2.

Having used some of your tactics on FM19 i would like to try one on this game.

In your opinion based on my squad available, which do you think would be the best as there are so many to choose from.

I am also using the public beta as well.

Saw some positive changes in the way we played during the first match, but at the end of season now so will reserve judgement until a few more games played (providing I dont get sacked).

In rergards to tough away fixtures i.e Barca, Real, Valencia and possible Champions League opponents, would possibly changing the metalitly be ok in order to keep to the tactical identity?

I am currently two thirds of the way through my first season as Atletico Madrid and i cannot find any type of consistancy!

I choose Atleti because i they are very well suited to a 4-4-2 which is by far my favourite formation. I have been trying to play a little like they do irl as in sit back and hit people on the counter

while also being hard to break down. This dosent seem to be working!

I would really like evrything to go through Saul and Koke as they are incredible passers of the ball and generally good all round.

Having beaten Barcelona 2-1 away then losing 6-1 to Bilbao, i am now tasked wiht needing 11 points from 5 games to avoid the sack!

Any help to keep me gamefully employed and help build to the future would be greatly appreciated.

Been using the FM18.3FLAT442MIDSOMERP103 with Barcelona and its working wonders so far.

Considering i have an ageing squad and zero transfer budget smashing Madrid was quite a surprise.
