  1. Max Ehmer should have prefers to play on the right
Alongside Ogilvie & Tucker for us, he has consistently played well playing as the RCB
Whereas he struggled last year getting moved around Bristol Rovers' defence

When I auto-pick my team or go on holiday it always puts Ehmer on the left & Tucker on the right, which isn't how they play in real life

Gerald Sithole should have Zimbabwe as either his 1st or 2nd nationality, as that's where his family is from. I'm pretty sure he was born in England though.

Robbie McKenzie should have avoids weaker foot, due to injuries, suspensions etc he's played a few games at LB (quite solid performances) but he clearly avoided using his left foot at all costs.

  2. I've added an update to the main post

I had trouble getting the Kent nation to join the international cycles correctly & lost my way with the file. I'll have another look at it if I get any inspiration to.

One question. Isn't Gillingham in Kent? Techinally they should be in the Champions League instead of Dover

I left Gillingham in the English league system as they would be way too strong compared to the other teams in the nation & added a 'B' team into the Kent national league system, along with a Charlton side - both of these sides can't qualify for Europe as they still qualify through the English system.

I'm only planning to make a nation, but I want to put existing football clubs into my custom nation, but not make the nation's football system not break...

When you go to start a new game with the edited file, for example having Kent & England loaded

    England will be greyed out with a message like;
National League has 20 teams, it requires 24, N L South has 18 teams requires 24, Ismthian Premier, etc etc.

You have to 'promote' or fill these gaps with other teams, I just promoted the highest reputation teams from the lower divisions, until the game was happy. But took a bit of time, saving the database, loading up a new game, England greyed out, fill the leagues it says with the editor, try a new game, fill the leagues it says, etc until England is no longer greyed out.

  3. I done this not too long ago, through just creating a B team to the main team under the reserves tab.
Then added the league in from the screen pictured
I had problems before adding B teams to different nations on earlier FM's but didn't seem to have any this time.

FYI San Marino Calcio are no more, they merged with a lower league Italian team called Cattolica & became Cattolica S.M. Calcio (I think they may of gone under also).

  4. Crawley manager John Yems (5100896) needs his history fleshed out a bit more

In 1992-94 he was Horsham player/manager

    https://www.horshamfc.co.uk/2020/07/17/i-was-an-egotist-who-thought-i-was-going-to-win-the-european-cup/

In 1998 he was a coach at Dulwich Hamlet, leading the team in some friendlies

In 2003 he was a u18 coach at Millwall

He was previously a youth coach at Crystal Palace, but not sure when. I think it was around the same time as his roles at Fulham & Millwall.

In 2006, while being a coach, for a time he was caretaker manager at Crawley

In 2012 he was coaching at Gillingham

In 2019 before rejoining Crawley, he was a scout for Newcastle

Kevin Jack is GK Coach at Dover and has been since the summer but is not at the club in game.

Kelvin Jack (147966 in the database), Liam Ridgewell (5104215) needs adding to the Dover coaching staff as well.

Lee Worgan (5114489) could do with some non-player attributes added, when he was at Maidstone & Dover he was player/GK coach & also whilst playing for Maidstone he coached the Gillingham first team goalkeepers part time for a period. He could probably be added to Maidstone's favourite people as he was club captain, played about 250 games in a row & was a big part in 2/3 promotions when he was there. He's got on his twitter that he's a UEFA Qualified coach, not sure what level.

Worth noting that there's a lot of young players featuring in u23s sides at the moment due to the coronavirus, with first team bubbles preventing top u23s (those who train in the first team) from mixing regularly with academy players. Swansea's u23s have given debuts and starts to at least 4 16 year olds already this season, without it necessarily being a mark of exceptional ability. Early advancement is easier at the moment in real life compared to the gameworld where covid isn't a factor, so it's sensible not to get too excited by appearances at this stage.

You have obviously not seen Shoretire play, he's entirely there on merit.

  7. I've basically turned Kent into its own country, with only the national team made at the moment with anyone born in Kent (plus Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley etc (historical Kent)) made 'Kentish'

I will be creating a national league system (with awards), with Gillingham & Charlton 'B' sides competing with the likes of Dover, Maidstone etc. in what will most probably be 3 tiers with 10-12 teams in each.

I've put Dover into the Champions League, with Bromley, Ebbsfleet & Dartford into the Europa. I'm just trying to remember how to put the Kent national side into the international tournaments, got them in the Nations League, I need to test and make sure they get picked up for the World Cup qualifiers & the next cycle for the Euro Championships.

Depending on work I should have the league system & it all tested for a few seasons in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah, I was looking for a fun summer challenge and it's gone. The problem with Sendspace is if no one accesses a file for a period of time, they dump it.

  9. I wonder if it's because all those clubs start with no manager. Did you tick 'add staff' to all clubs?

No I didn't, that might be it...but most if not all teams I've seen level 9 and 10 have appointed not just managers but full teams of staff anyway

It's when that manager gets sacked they seem to come after me

EDIT: I've just thought I did win the FA Vase first season so that may of boosted my rep a bit much or something?

Cept for that I haven't done much, knocked out of the league cup, mid table in the league

Started as Sunday League Footballer/No coaching qualifications

  10. Enjoying this so far, onto my second season with Hollands & Blair (Southern Counties League East) Level 9

I've got a slight problem though I'm getting jobs offers almost daily from pretty much every team in Level 7, 8, 9 and 10

I'm not sure why I'm getting so many/I'm doing pretty well but not to warrant this much attention (and have no plans to leave the club)

Is there any way I can ignore these or only see them if a higher league team comes in for me?
