  2. I can confirm the behavior and I think it's a bug. This was the ( correct ) behavior on FM22 also.
  3. My son is almost 17.. and he has seen me play FM thousands of hours in the past years. Every time I'm getting excited because I've just won National League with whatever club, he looks at me with sad eyes like " dude, you're gone" . I could not convert him . I think the personality is definitely a factor.. he's relentless, energetic and the games he plays reflect that : Overwatch / Call of Duty, Starcraft, NBA 2K. At some point we both have played FIFA. The taste for more settled down, slow paced, build your own adventure in your head type of games - will come for him ( and the likes of him ) later in life. It's ok. People change.

It could be possible to nuance your statement and maybe you will have more understanding for their ( and in this particular subject - mine ) point of view : [...] whilst at the same time screaming to get a, er, revamp of an exisiting feature that is flawed and buggy for decades. Surely we can see there are nuances involved. People are not annoyed that we do not have a revamp of the main menu - for example. People here are annoyed that there are major parts of the game that are not fixed for years /decades now ( in their personal opinion ) and there is not even a word about why not ?, when ?, or even if ever will they be fixed. But the " headlines" parade is smaller and insubstantial year after year ( again in their personal opinion ). So arguing that every criticism for not fixing / improving existing modules counters the statement that " new features" are not always new is not valid. These could coexist. Yes, some of the headlines are revamps of older game modules and yes revamps are needed on other modules. No conflict of logic.
  7. Your personal opinion differs from my personal opinion and it's ok. I hope you don't think yours is more important than mine. Surely we could understand that others may find useful a revamp for a buggy & clunky set pieces module, even if you personally find it fine as it is.
  8. From all that hundreds of features per year that are logged, the one that emerged was the squad planner and not let's say .. a new set pieces creator. The emergent process must be flawed somehow.
  9. It's not a minecraft knockoff but here we are years later still looking at the same 4 ugly stands and 2 oversized buildings all over the world. It's ok to ask for improvements in any aspect of the game.. it's not going to hurt something else.
  10. It's the class.. "tabbed". Copy the class from classes folder.
  11. There are tools to compare at folder level ( i.e. new files/ deleted files ) and also ( text ) file content , pointing out differences. I don't know if it's ok to mention it because it's an external software, if it's not ok maybe the mods will remove this: I am using Beyond Compare - to compare extracted folders and files version vs version. It has a trial period of 1 month I think, so you can check it out. Notepad++ has plugins for XMLs , one can compare XMLs. But it's strictly file vs file and it's tedious. Pretty sure there are others.

  13. I do respect your opinion and I think my idea doesn't exclude your style of play. If there would be some options ( checkboxes with do or don't ) it would be an improvement - more granularity when delegating the interviews. Those who want to do the interviews would not be affected in any way.
  14. I was talking about setting do's and do not's on AM , when delegating interviews . I had my AM talking about transferring my captain, or some nonsense about his contract and all hell broke lose .

What I would like to see as an addition to when we left the AM handle the interviews - a bit of guidelines, for example : don't talk about transfers in or out/ loans , don't talk about player future. Simple checkboxes with do or don't. This small thing could improve the experience for those who don't want to handle them - and it's perfectly fine to not want to because it's a game and we should have options to automate things.

In the match team talk panel.xml starting on line 50 you will find these entries: <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="0"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="1"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="2"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="3"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="4"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="5"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="6"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="7"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="8"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="9"/> <widget class="match_team_talk_person_info_panel" id="10"/> Id=0 is the keeper . So revert the order and you will have the keeper at the bottom.
  20. I think "Make the most of set pieces" shouldn't be a board objective. It's just silly. It's like asking to score more goals with the left foot. You see John, we - the board of directors - consider it's vital that more than X% of our goals should be scored from free kicks and corners. Vital ! Our financial wellbeing and quite frankly the future of our club depends on it! Jokes aside, a revision of the board objectives module is needed. Now with the addition of the supporters confidence even more. For now it remains somehow disconnected and out of touch.

Hi all, I decided to tweak the team talk panel because I'm getting older and my eyes are getting tired easily when moving all over the screen to check whose morale changed - top , left, right, and the background is distracting - and anyway .. This is not a big deal, but hey.. If you need it too, here it is. The panels go into panels/match folder. * NOTE: I am playing on 3840x2160 with zoom 150% and most likely you will need to alter the size of the panels/ widgets to look decent on your screen.   22. Also.. there is a difference between your notepad++ capitals.fontxml file and the one from the error message. Is the game opening a different file ?
  23. In Notepad++ try enabling : View / Show Symbol / Show All Characters. Maybe you have a strange character on that line.
  24. I had such a strange save in FM22 in regards of this trait. It felt like it was everywhere .. CDs had it, CMs. Everyone and everywhere. It was like a plague. And I couldn't get one player unlearn it. I think it was executed poorly as it shouldn't be a must use. It would have been better if it was more of an " if you have this trait, you can use it if you want to". I don't want to see my CD knocking the ball forward every time he has the ball and lose it to the first opponent in front. Eh.. anyway.
  25. This is my skin for FM23 - an update from my FM22 skin. I've changed some colors, changed some panels and obviously got frustrated by a lot of little things . A lot of panels are from other skins, or are inspired by other skins: FME, TCS, Tato, OPZ Elite, Statman. I own a big "thank you" to all of those who created these skins and to all the guys who took time to answer questions around here: @bluestillidie00 , @michaeltmurrayuk , @snowofman, @keysi to name a few. This skin is not going to be published. So here we go: Club Panels I wanted to get my club panel to look like other skins - with subtle boxes and a lot of info. You will find here some panels and inspiration from some of the skins that I've mentioned. People Panels and Home Page Player Overview Panel Some changes from last year.. Removed selector for the bottom panels as I never use other panels there. Added per 90min stats from @_Ben_ 's skin. Next Opponent Overview and Schedule Opponent Manager on Next Opponent panel drove me crazy for a long time until @snowofman gave me a solution. You sir are a miracle for the skinning forum. For Schedule I've decided to go with a link to the stadium.. because I wanted to visit that panel also . News Panels These are 3 from a bunch of news panels I've changed these couple of years. Mostly I am aiming for transparency and uniformity ( pictures and data on the left, text on the right ). Where it was possible I wanted to get rid of the scrollbars. Match Panels This is the result of the annoying bug that we had last year - when the panels of the tablet were resetting with every match. This solution came after a suggestion from @FMEnhanced. I've added this year Match Momentum and Pass Maps ( Pass Maps are buggy for now even in standard skin as far as I've seen).
