I know this is not your issue with your files but Just to let you know since the 20.3 update if you load any of your files with the real results and fixtures of either fmf or aml or any others the England file is wrong and throws all the English fixtures out of sync!! No Sunday games or early of late kick offs etc. only Wednesday and Saturday matches in the Premiership and the end of the season is split up. I think it could be League one has 23 teams because of Bury's expulsion and should have just 3 relegation spots and League 2 should only have 1. When one of them is loaded they still show 4 and 2 relegation spots. It is also affecting international fixtures too. It also effects your European games which are now played on a Saturday!! Im trying to figure out a solution with the editor but I am stumped at the moment. Do you have any ideas?? Keep up the good work.

That could possibly be due to my files being carried over from the 2019 database, but I dunno. They were only tested without the real fixtures but ran fine.

Is the real results/fixtures a separate editor file that you downloaded? If so then that will most likely not be compatible with my work.

  2. I subscribed to the file on Steam but it won't show up in the editor for some reason. I'll try creating a duplicate version of the CWC in my file though and see if it shows up outside of using continents

EDIT: It never worked. The original Club World Championship was there, along with a Club World Cup but it was due to schedule in February 2020 lol.

Just added all the players+managers from the 2. Bundesliga, so that's in the game now. Brings the total of leagues with full rosters in the game up to 17 - Argentina 1, Denmark 1, England 1+2+3, France 1+2, Germany 1+2, Italy 1+2, Mexico 1, Netherlands 1, Portugal 1, Scotland 1, Spain 1, Turkey 1. Kind of wish I did Brazil, Greece or Russia instead, but oh well.

I've got a few leagues bookmarked to start work on in the near future but I'll have to try and get hold of a new copy of CM4. The one I have has had issues installing. Either that or I can run off FM05.

Thanks I really appreciate what you’re doing, that’s a brilliant work especially for the AFC part. However, I found that if I’m using the UEFA Revamp A (AFC) I cannot found the “asian coefficient nation” and “asia qualification” places in the Asia’s section. Therefore, I would like to asl whether is it possible to fix this issue? Thanks

    Hi Michael,

Unfortunately I'm not sure if it's possible to fix the coefficients with created continental competitions. Same goes for qualification places.

One final question for the road - what are the qualification rules for the Champions League/UEFA Cup/Intertoto Files (specifically 34), I've only checked the first season but it appears that Cup Winners aren't picked up by either the UEFA Cup or Intertoto - Rennes and Strasbourg are both not in any of the competitions after winning the two Frenchie cups last season.

It goes by league position. Domestic cup winners will go into the Cup Winners' Cup, unless they've qualified for a higher competition in which the cup runner-up would then qualify (i.e. Watford).

The Intertoto Cup in files 33-35 I believe has the winner qualify for the UEFA Cup First Round, while the runner-up and third-placed team qualify for the UEFA Cup Qualifying Round.

Awesome, file 34 was going to be the one I was going with so will play the waiting game - what is the error out of interest?

The Season Update Day and the Setup Date were too early for the UEFA Cup. As a result from the second season onward, it was grabbing the 3 qualifying Intertoto Cup teams from the previous year instead of the current year.

I can confirm with much relief that the schedule problem is apparently solved by the way described above. However, in the 2024/25 season (on December the 13th) I have suddenly experienced a crash dump. I do not know whether this is due to the database modifications or a problem associated with the newest patch, as many people seem to be documenting similar crashes in the forum.

I would try using the method described above (i.e. setting both dates to June 11th).

Will give that a try now, cheers

No idea what would cause the crash dump.

First thing you could do is remove the monday, so you have both dates at set moments. That way they can't move around and confuse things.

A two week period should also work as the two weeks will mean it can never end up on the wrong side.

I have tried setting BOTH dates to june 11th (2013 in the case of setup date, as it forces you to enter a year) and the third season is now scheduled properly. I will go on with the test for several seasons to see if the problem is solved.

For what it's worth I'm working on getting my FIFA Club World Cup up and running for the next update and that won't schedule in 2021 either. The setup date and season update day are 5 days apart through (June 10th and 15th) so I'll try messing with those.

Also there doesn't seem to be an option to get rid of the Monday in the Setup Date.

What I see is that the second season doesn't finish. Normally you see the final for a while and then it gets reset to 'draw will be xx days' or something like that. In the last regular working season the final stays and doesn't get a reset.

The setup date is around the season update day, but where the season update day is 10 June (set date), the Setup date is Mon 10 Jun 2013. The monday can be the problem, because the game will base itself on the monday and not the 10 june and the setup date will move around. This can mean the season update doesn't take place.

Do you think setting the season update day and the setup date a week or two apart could fix it? I remember moving them to August and it didn't work, but I may have kept the same date for both which could have caused the problem you brought up.

    Hi Carlito85,

Love the look of this - amazing work.  Just a question about what formats are available or not, is there any option presently that brings back the qualification pathways for the current format that we saw for most of the 2000's and 2010's - i.e. fewer automatic group stage spots as teams that finished 3rd or 4th in the likes of the Premier League and La Liga still had to navigate the play-off rounds.  From memory, 2017 was the last time this happened when Liverpool had to get past Hoffenhiem.

If not, is this something that you think could easily be done in the editor by myself?

Although as a Newcastle fan, I feel a little bit awkward about doing it to myself considering the last time we got that far against Paritzan.

    Hi pandaminator,

From one Newcastle fan to another I hear you lol. Going out on penalties against Partizan was a nightmare. It was all downhill from there.

The option of navigating the playoff rounds is included in the majority of the files. The current format is also included in a few though (files 26-29). There's a detailed file guide included in the download to make choosing the file you'd like easier.

I'm working on an update which I hope to have released by tomorrow at the latest (fixing a UEFA Cup error that has popped up), so it might be best to hold off on starting a new save until then if you'd prefer to use the UEFA Cup instead of the Europa League

Hi, I am using this patch and is incredible, great work. Just there are some issues that I notice playing the second season in game (20/21). The Champions League winner also is playing UEFA Cup because of their league position and the same happens with the Winner's Cup Winner. The other thing is that the third competition in CONMEBOL-CONCACAF tournament has not been drawn and is not being played.

    Thanks

Which files are you using? I'll take a look at them.

Also, when you say the Champions League winner is playing in the UEFA Cup because of their league position, are they in the Champions League as well? None of the files I made have the Champions League winner automatically qualifying for the Champions League in the following season. I couldn't get it to work properly.

Hmm, I will take a look.

First thing to check is to see if it runs out of time to finish. Sounds a bit like it, otherwise the first two seasons shouldn't have run.

After reading this I've tried editing the file to bring forward the UYL final to April 22nd (as in the real thing), and also stretching the range of the competition from August to April, but to no avail. Whatever the format, there is no third season scheduled.

I've also tried using Nyon as the final venture to avoid clashes with first-team games, but nothing seems to work at the moment.

It just won't get past the second season.

I tried changing the season set-up and schedule dates to September and it still didn't work. The competition itself begins in mid-late September.
