  6. He has been the perfect loan signing to cover for Dalot's broken leg!
  7. January 2027 January began with the loan signing of Héctor Bellerín from Barcelona as Diogo Dalot broke his leg during the first half of our campaign. The Spaniard is no longer at the peak of his powers but he will do a job filling the hole which Diogo left behind while he recovers from the unlucky injury. Like Bellerin's move, Ivan Ilić's move was another forced signing after Gerson broke his leg shortly after Diogo did his We couldn't believe our luck but thankfully, Defoe saved some cash in the summer and we brought in Ivan on deadline day to fill another gap left behind by serious injuries. The Serbian is a very complete, left-footed central midfielder who will compete with Bartol Franjić for game time in the left-sided no. 8 spot . Weiper has been excellent for us since he came over to England and he has rarely missed major game time due to injuries or suspensions. However, Jermain has always felt that we do not have enough firepower if our bad luck with injuries strike our number one number nine too. To address this concern which has always been at the back of his mind, we moved to bring in Adam Idah from Norwich to strengthen our striking options as we move into the business end of our very busy campaign. With incredible physique and finishing ability, we are hoping that the Irish hitman can help us take the final step towards silverware in the cup competitions \o/
  8. Cheers mate! Those signings were being forced by registration restrictions!
  9. Our 3rd-choice striker certainly had a debut to remember!
  10. Summer 2026/27 This summer was all about getting the squad to meet the registration requirements as a couple of players turned 22 and took up additional slots.. Goalkeepers We have a new pair of goalkeepers this campaign as Emiliano Martínez and Sergio Rico turned 34 and 33 respectively and a change is needed sooner rather than later. Alex Meret will be our new number one as he is a wonderful shot-stopper with decent handling and aerial reach. Jermain is certain that he is more than capable to replace a certain World Cup winner Alex's back-up is a fellow countryman and Alessandro Plizzari is a keeper of similar mould. With him available for a mere 2.5 million pounds, we wasted little time to sign him up. The 191cm-tall shot-stopper will get most of his game time in the cup competitions. Defenders With us struggling to meet the registration requirements, there was a need to bring in the younger ones who can develop to be one of our own. With Defoe's special liking for Norwegians, it was not surprising to see him bring in Erik Tylden for 2.4 million pounds. The resolute youngster is already one capable center-back at a tender age of 18. If he can add pace to his game, he will be able to hold his own against the Prem-level strikers. Despite the solid form of last summer's signing Diogo Dalot, right-back continue to be our worst-performing position and Jermain made strengthening this area our priority. Like Diogo, Filippo Terracciano is an all-rounded right wing-back and he will replace the out-going Tuta in the squad. With Micky van de Ven suspended for our first 3 league games and Sergio Reguilón turning 30 shortly, Jermain decided to bring in a third left-back to prepare for exigencies. Rayan Aït-Nouri is incredible going both ways down the left flank and if he can stay injury-free, the Frenchman can be big for us this campaign. Midfielders The loan signing of Noël Aséko Nkili from Bayern went a long way to help us meet the registration requirements as he is a very capable defensive midfielder for a 20-year-old. The German replaces Morten Hjulmand in the squad, whom Jermain was reluctant to let go, even for 30 million pounds to Al-Hilal Saudi Football Club. Jonathan Asp-Jensen was another 20-year-old who was signed to help us meet the registration requirements in both the Prem and the Champions League. The Danish wonderkid is a solid set-piece taker with that Brazilian flair and Argentinian agility in his game. He replaces Tobias Gulliksen as our backup right-sided no. 8, who joined promoted side Sheffield United for 25 million pounds. Attackers Kevin Schade was entering the last year of his contract but his demands for an extension were unrealistic in Defoe's eyes. He decided to let the German return to Germany for 34 million pounds and sign up the most value for money replacement in Ismaïla Sarr. The speedster came in on loan from Arsenal and he will push Andreas Schjelderup for a role in the starting 11. Our third-choice lone pressing foward had to be home-grown due to registration restrictions and Dane Scarlett was brought in on loan from Jermain's former club to fill that spot. The Englishman has yet to fulfil his potential and our manager is the perfect mentor to bring out the best in him. Due to circumstances, we still have so much left in the bank and our scouting team will continue to be very busy as we navigate the upcoming campaign
  11. Thanks mate! Great to see you around Cheers mate! Many bitter sweet feelings in Jermain's tenure thus far
  12. Season Review 2025/26 Campione, campione olé olé olé! Premier League We are the champions!! The title race didn't really go all the way to the wire despite us winning by goal difference as we were ahead of Man City by 3 points and +9 goal difference going into the last fixture. While we lost to Arsenal away and City beat Leicester, the lads managed to hang on with our superior goal difference. Nonetheless, it was an unbelievable campaign by Defoe's boys considering we are far behind the top sides in terms of transfer and wage budgets. What an achievement by Jermain!! Champions League We were losing finalists in our last Champions League campaign to AC Milan and they were our nemesis again, knocking us out in the Round of 16 3-1 on aggregate after Jermain decided to rest his players for the league. We go again next year! FA Cup We lost another cup final!! Despite progressing well all the way, we were beaten by Southampton 1-2 to a late injury-time goal agonisingly. Defoe is beginning to develop the bad habit of losing finals in his career and let's hope we can correct it sooner or later! Carabao Cup Not a Carabao Cup campaign to remember as our second string was knocked out by Arsenal early in the Fourth Round. Goal of the Season Goal of the season was a beauty by our new signing Gerson with absolutely no back lift at all! Finances Our broadcast revenue and competition prize money dropped despite us winning the league, and it probably showed how much money a run in the Champions League would bring! Weiper continues to sell shirts though and he has slowly but surely established himself as a Boro fan favourite! Best Eleven The league winners!! \o/ The Accolades Player of the Season Need I say more? Haaland who

  15. Unbelievable signings mate! Interesting to see you bring in two Hendersons together too! Rice, Gvardiol and Tel will form a solid spine for you!
  16. Congrats on the new contract mate! Despite the financial ceiling, will you stay beyond this season?
  17. Charles De Ketalaere looks fantastic! So intelligent, one of the best passers around, and so good in the air too!
  18. Sounds really fun! Looking forward to seeing you navigate this crazy system!
  19. Can't wait for this! Will definitely follow your progress closely! Good luck on your journey mate!
