November Update After the defeat at Haddington, I have decided I needed to change things up. I changed to a 442 and a 523. I am still learning the tactic side of things and did so reading into tactic and attributes. I was initially looking for the best that can be, but now I am using the information available to me and working on the weaknesses. anyway, November. I made it to the Scottish cup 3rd round, and was drawn away to the Mighty Greenock Morton, it even got chosen for Live TV. 27 Swift fans made the drive through to Greenock for the game too. And tell you what, I think we did pretty dam well, So my results seem to be improving since i have gone to a more cautious approach to games. Moral could be better but If I can get a run of wins together, then who knows how far we will go.

I have started in the 6th tier, lowest I have ever been but I am enjoying it so far! Apart from getting frustrated at my lack of tactical knowledge haha

All these Scottish lower league threads and I am only just noticing them!! I need to pay more attention. Good luck with the Celtic game there matey.

So it has been a fairly inconsistent month for the Swift's with only 2 wins in 6. I was trying to tinker a bit with my tactics which I think put me backwards. Also, It doesn't help I have lost my 1st choice GK. But we will fight on for now. If anyone has any advice, I will always listen. #MTS

Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts, or Swifts FC, are a semi Professional club who currently ply their trade in the East of Scotland football League Premier Division. (6th Tier) They currently play their home games at the Dalgety Bay Sports and Leisure Center. Club Wiki So, why manage the Swifts? Well, both my kids play in their respective age groups for the swifts and have done from a young age. I was actually a coach for my daughters team at one point too. So here is my manager. I have gone for the Sunday League footballer as, quite frankly, No one has ever heard of me. I have given myself the National C badge as I do hold the SFA coaching badge 1.1. (Not sure the name but it is the minimum badge required) Club Overview Squad, Tactic and Fixtures so far. I would say I have had a pretty good start so far. Tactic wise, I am usually rubbish and almost always end up downloading someone elses. However, for this save, I intend on doing all my own tactics, starting with the 433 Wide. I am finding it difficult to recruit at the moment but my youngsters seem to be doing well so far (please note, in this downloaded DB not all current players are at the club so a few newgens as well as my signings). Just completed my first fm24 season with the Pars to get used to the game. Got them promoted after winning the league with 5 games to spare. Now not sure whether to wait for the full release and a lower league DB to be released, or start my journeyman save just now

I usually have the tv on when at home. Football, great, if no, true crime stuff. When I am on the ship, it will be a mixture of tv (if a match is on) you tube or an audible book.

Currently in 28/29 season at Leeds having taken over start of pre season. Started the save with Cowdenbeath in the Scottish lowland league, got consecutive promotions before getting the Arbroath job in the Scottish Premiership. Only did one season as I didn't enjoy it and then resigned. Got the Bolton job who were just relegated to league 2. Got consecutive promotions to the Premier League, winning both L1 and L2 and finishing 2nd in the Championship when Leeds came calling. Currently December 2028 and I am mid table after a very bad start.

Oh, just seen this thread and I am so glad I found it. I have just started a save ten mins ago with Hill of Beath in the same teir but the lowland version (cant remember the name now). They are actually a team just up the road from me lol. Any tips from that tier mate?

Fm 22 uninstalled, Mrs has walked out, bring on the beta

I have just had a big fall out with the Mrs so this is a great time for the beta

I am still on my beta save. I am in the 34/35 season the now. Dont get as much time as I would like on FM but really enjoying this save. Never done a save as long as this before either.

I am still on my first save from the Beta, in the 34/35 season having worked my way up from the bottom. My main guy is now 51. After seeing this threat, I decided to add a younger me, 10 years younger. Going to see how I fair with 2 managers. Thanks for the inspiration.
