Thanks for the help. I decided to go with it in the end - spent most of it. I'm now in March and my overall balance is -£17 million - eeek!!!
Not been fired though so fingers crossed it's fine...

Hi guys
Started a new season with Man Utd... I edited the transfer budget to 100 million (from 30) but forgot to increase the overall balance in the Editor.
In the first transfer window I spent most of the budget... I'm now in the January transfer window and I have a transfer budget of £114 million (after selling players and doing well in the league)....however my overall balance is down to £125 million. If I spend all of my transfer budget and after sign on fees etc...I'll be left with just £5 million in my overall balance.
I presume that's bad news even for a club like United...would I suffer under FFP / struggle to get to the end of the season etc? (I'm worried by increasing the transfer budget in the editor by £70 million but not the overall balance that I've screwed up the finances and so I shouldn't spend this money...?)

Just to say I'm suffering with this issue too. It's corrupted my save files as well (made them 0.2 MB) and so they no longer load either (due to me trying to save them). Gutted - my main save was a career game over 3 seasons.

Hi guys
Been playing the Game Pass version since release - all fine.
However I am now unable to save any game - it says: "Save game failed. The game could not be saved because there is not enough disk space. Free up some more and try again"
I have plenty of room on my hard drive. I have since deleted the cache and preferences folder - and reinstalled the game too. But it still won't let me save (be it an existing save or starting a new file).
The only thing I can think that has caused this is I downloaded and used FM Genie Scout 21. I managed to save a game whilst using the app though - but I'm presuming this has caused some sort of issue in the end?
Any advice gratefully received

Not sure if it's the same exploit - but I found one online referring to the 300m figure - it doesn't work any more - it has been patched out.
