Mike7077
I've just told big porkies in my latest pre-match press conference. I said that we will be focused on a tight defence when I really intend to focus on attack. Does this have any attack? Is it possible that it could take the opposition by surprise? thehig2
on topic, I dont think it would, its a good idea but the press conferences are rubbish and pointless on FM09 and it seems to have little outcome on the game. I storm out at first question on everyone while typing **** off and I still do okay
docklanders
they do have a minor effect, dont they?
The Major
Conferences are crap, so i doubt it has any effect.
peter-evo
I went through a stage where I constantly said something and I would do the opposite. It seemed to work but that may just be me being superstitious.
Magnakai Haaskivi
I always say I'm going to attack with some considered style, regardless of my plan. My team's rather ambitious, though, and they always seem to like that.
phnompenhandy
It's a very good question. I'd love to befuddle the public and opposition but I'm scared to try it. I have tried saying the danger man is their most rubbish player. Just gave him a morale boost. Anybody got any evidence of interesting effects of deliberately misleading comments to the press? midlothian
I usually leave press conferences to the assman and he usually says we're gonna park the bus. My tactics are very attacking and we do quite well. Yes, my point is that press conferences are pointless.
