When i comes to United, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Inter blah blah blah, it goes tits up, especially when i'm away. Any advice on how to contain them? Because a 0-0/1-1 is always better than 1-0/2-1. The former might see you hold on for about 70 mins and then they'll up their game and score, while the latter would see you countered. Either: defend and last the initial onslaught, if there is one, and then open up toward the end to try to nick it.
