meatloafster
I had a player score a goal early in a match, and the commentary went bananas. "Gooooooooooooaaaaal!!!!" "Goal! Goal! Goal! Goal!" Got a laugh out of me.

Arnar
One thing i don´t understand is when the commentary box says "the player is deemed of playing the ball" when teams are asking for a penalty.

Mezz Boms
i like the one when the commentator says "Get in" followed by "what a goal by ...." seems like he is biased towards my team

Hazzydeepy
Something along the lines of 'He has punched player x' 'He has been sent off by the referee!' 'It was a great right hook too' - The first time I saw that I actually burst out laughing.
Scott1990
I like the one which goes: "XXXX is angry. He kicks out at XXXX" There's something about how matter-of-factly the first line is said which makes me crack up every time.

bigwills88
Most of the lines have small Partridge edge to them I reckon. Unfortunately I can't think of any off the top of my head.

heathxxx
I had a South Korean regen once... very unfortunately named "Ho Bum Fuk". heathxxx
on the psp version there is the classic ' liquid football' not sure if that is on the pc. surely a alan partridge reference though? I often still chuckle to myself when I think of Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan) and his football commentary. Obviously I can't repeat some of the things he said on the forum, but one particular one that always makes me laugh was after seeing a player score a long-distance goal. I think you'll know which line I'm referring to.

stuboy
can we edit the commentary, i know it was possible in an old version. Would love to put "he's got a foot like a traction engine" into the game
ScouseFromTheSouth
I think the funniest thing by far that I've seen on FM09 was "Santon lands a right hook on Rooney!" or something to that effect, during Man City/Man United. Nice to see the foreigners getting into the derby spirit.
