gazwefc
i think its the average attendance the club uses like for middlesb' it would be 28,428 but the capacity would be 35,
Shels_1895
Used capacity basically means how much of the stadium is used on matchday, be it seats or terracing. FM can't tell the difference between Seats and Standing places yet so it's best to just leave it the same as overall capacity because then you will be losing out on gate receipts setting it the same amount as seats, for example the Allianz-Arena in Munich has a 69,901 capacity and 56,132 is seated and if you set used capacity as the amount of seats you will lose out on 13500 on the match attendence. But yes you could set it to the same as seats if you wanted so that the standing places aren't available.
strong centreback
Capacity - the overall amount of fans you can get in the stadium Seating - the amount of seats in the overall capacity Capacity used -basically the same as capacity, not sure why this is in the game Expansion capacity - the size the stadium can be expanded to
Dave Fairbairn
Used is for grounds like East Stirlingshire's old ground, where they had a condemmed terrace. It can lead to cheaper expansions because the stand is already there, it just needs to be upgraded so that the stand is usable. Also, for instance, at Hampden Park for Queen's Park, only about 5,000 is "used" with the rest of the stadium closed for game day, so that people don't wander into parts of the statium that has no security. Of course, you can't do this example in game, because the stadium is also used for the Scottish Cup final and Scottish international matches.
Iron-Haggis
Sheffield Wednesday's ground Hillsborough is a good example. Hillsborough's Capacity and Seating Capacity is 39814 but the Capacity Used is 37859. This is because a small stand at Hillsborough fails to gain a safety ceritificate so it can't be used.
