Guest
Monday's session report Various commitments and a general lack of time didn't let me to write an update about last session, but here it goes a short one just before tonight's session that will start at 8pm. Fulham played 9 games this session:
6.2.06 Blackburn H Premier Division 1:2 26285 Kerr 8.2.06 Wolves A FA Cup 4th Rnd Replay 1:2 33923 Saha 12.2.06 Derby A Premier Division 4:0 34672 Ljungberg, Saha, Donovan 2 25.2.06 Arsenal H Premier Division 3:1 30383 Zetterberg 2, Ljungberg 1.3.06 Man Utd A League Cup Semi Final Leg 2 2:2 59832 Saha, Livermore 4.3.06 Sunderland A Premier Division 1:3 42830 Saha 18.3.06 Coventry H Premier Division 2:1 25844 Kerr, Saha 2.4.06 Leeds N League Cup Final 3:1 89974 Postiga 2, Saha 5.4.06 Chelsea A Premier Division 1:2 41951 Malbranque 8.4.06 Bolton H Premier Division --- ----- 15.4.06 Middlesbrough A Premier Division --- ----- 19.4.06 Liverpool H Premier Division --- ----- 23.4.06 Leeds A Premier Division --- ----- 30.4.06 Sheff Wed H Premier Division --- ----- 6.5.06 Southampton A Premier Division --- ----- 21.5.06 Aston Villa H Premier Division --- -----
Best achievement was winning League Cup , we're not going to win the title this season and we didn't compete in Europe too, so this was a handy triumph in order to raise the morale levels of my players and keep my reputation high. In the semi-finals we beat Man Utd 3-2 on aggregate and then the final against Leeds was easier than we expected. Postiga sealed his come back to the first team with two balls in the net and Saha scored the other goal. On FA Cup we went out on 4th round. After drawing at home with Div1 Wolves , we played a replay match at Wolverhampton and the lucky bestards won 2-1. I was expecting success on both cups, but oh well you can't have everything you want, can you? In EPL we're sitting 4th hoping to stay there or even get a 3rd place. With all the investment made on Fulham squad , Champions League qualification is indispensable for us or else our finances may collapse next season. I have good Bosmans on their way to Fulham, not sure yet if I'll sign them all, depends on what position we finish this year and if any good offers come in for my current players. But the main signings so far are : Julio Cesar, Jeremie Alardiere, Danny Mills, Paul Rudden, Samuel Eto'o and Simão, Let the ball roll in a hour. HL7
Aston Villa Update This has been quite an incredible year for those connected with Aston Villa (ie. me ). We were languishing between 11th and 13th place all season, then prodigal son Michael Gormley returns from holiday to steer them to a 10 game unbeaten run, lying now 8th in the league. However, it's not all been plain sailing for Villa, we did have outstanding debts of £16m and looked set to lose star player and captain, Dmitris Eleftheropolous when Real Sociedad bid £4.3m. However, days after this bid, Villa were taken over with a £25m cash injection, meaning that I could now cancel the Eleftheropolous deal. Yes, I was a happy camper Hopefully now i'll money to build on this years success, and hopefully challenge for the league next season. We have one player coming in, but I can't remember his name for the life of me I have one game left to play against Nuno's Fulham, maybe I could completely shaft his chances of a CL spot

Guest
Sheffield Wednesday lose it all After being in 3rd place 2pts clear of 5th and in the FA Cup Final, everything was looking great. But in true Sheffield fassion we bottled the FA Cup final, losing 3-0 to Southampton, and lost 2-0 away to West Ham, which means losing out on the CL. However this has been my best season yet in NWCM, so hopefully with some good buys we can really push on from here.

MACKEM
MACKEM BEST MANAGER IN EUROPE!!!!!! Well what can i say, no-one can argue with that statement can they? SUNDERLAND BEST TEAM IN EUROPE!!!!! No-one can argue with this either What a season, stormed to 2nd place in the EPL and landed the holy grail (CL). My team is still pretty young too so i`m in a good position with money to spend on some quality midfield players as Tsigalko and Knight are only going to get better up front and i believe my defence are the best in this game. I think the season has been our best ever with everyone near the top and something to play for just about right to the end but i know one thing, next season is going to be an absolute belter. I think me and Kev will be strong and Nuno will definately be up there but also ohn and Mike will be pushing for the title aswell IMO. I really believe next season will be a 5 horse race for the title Anyway lads i`ll see you all next session on monday ok? Steve
