Guest
Another session went through and on a fast update I can say that Kev finally started to lose some games and Jone is on a good run, so W.B.A. and Middlesbrough are now the main contenders for the title. HL7
Aston Villa Update Arsenal 3 - 2 Aston Villa FA Cup, 3rd Round, Away In the first half we were completely outplayed and found ourselves 2-0 down to a decent Arsenal side. This was the first game with my new 4-4-2, and I was prepared to give time to let my side adapt. In the second half we performed much better by scoring twice and dictating most of the play, Balaban and Parker getting the goals. Aston Villa 2 - 2 Arsenal League, Home Much the same as the last match except I conceeded one less goal. Sheffield Wednesday 2 - 0 Aston Villa League, Away All I have to say is, how the fúck do you defend against this tactic? I've never seen anything like it before and it seemed pretty effective as Wednesday scored twice in the 7th and 8th minute to win a comfortable 2-0. Two one each draws followed and then we were to play hosts to Kev's unbeaten table toppers W.B.A. Aston Villa 1 - 0 W.B.A. League, Home We were absolutely in control of the match from the first kick of the ball. It taken a while for Leonardo to open the scoring, but I nearly woke half of the street up with my wild cheering when he did Unfortunately I had to go after this match as I really think I could've got Villa playing well if i'd stayed. No doubt my assistant is playing strikers in defence again :mad Also, next season i'm losing Balaban to Fulham, so as a result, he will not play another game for me this season and will train alone (ie. no training) because as far as i'm concerned, he's not a member of my squad anymore. Henrik Pedersen will join me on a bosman from Bolton to give me more attacking options. Hopefully after I get some TV money i'll be able to buy a top class left winger to replace the ageing Leonardo, and maybe a top class right back to help complete my side. I've also been quite surprised that Jay Lucas (recent signing from Southampton) has broken into the side already. The young Australian (9 goals in 7 caps) really looks impressive and is definately one for the future, a more than suitable replacement for Bosko Smellycunt (i'm not really as bitter as I sound). I'll miss the next session but i'll be available for the one next monday
Jone
It seems as my tactical change during last session has really given my team the extra spark they need to challenge for the title Since I changed it I haven't lost a league game and the team has been very consistant. I have to thank my young keeper Sebastien Frey for many great games, he is the main reason I've only conceded 18 goals. After 29 games I'm 6 points behinf WBA although they do have a game in their hand but I still think I have a decent chance of winning the title this season. In Champoins League things are ok I guess. I've won my home games but lost my away games in the 2nd group phase. If I win 1 of the 2 games I have left I'll sail through to the quarters but as I in that case would finish 2nd in the group I'd with a 50% chance have to play either Kev or Nuno in the quarters I decieded to sell Emile Mpenza who has been a great disapponitment since his arrival to Riverside, he only scored 9 goals in 24 games so he had to go. Kaiseslautern offered me £16m after I'd transfer listed the Belgian international ut to my disappointment he'll leave in the summer, not immediately as I was hoping because of his massive wages. I had to sign a replacementso I contacted West Ham to ask about their promising striker, Jermaine Defoe. We agreed on a £14m transfer fee and the youngster arrived to the club. He has really made an impact as he has scored 6 goals in 7 games so I'm more than happy with this signing. My prediction of this seasons Premier League: Nuno: Will finish 7th in the league Kev: Will finish 1st but only 3 points ahead of me Steve: Will keep finish 3rd as ManU have a tough run in the end of the season Me: Again runners-up John: 10th Stewy: 6th Mike: 11th as he has an easy run I'm hoping theese events won't happen as I'm hoping to win it but 9 points is too much even if he has tough away games coming up. Guest
Honeymoon Over For Stewart's Blackburn Blackburn in a poor run of form as they drop from 3rd to 6th within 14 games in all competitions. Only 5 games won out of 14 this session, and most of them came in the cup. Rovers' Results
Team Played Competition Venue Score Scorers ----------- ----------- ----- ----- ------- Middlesbrough FA Cup 3rd round A 2-2 Mellberg Jansen [Cole, Riquelme] Southampton League H 2-2 Tamudo Eriksson [Johnson, Hartson] Middlesbrough FA Cup 3rd Replay H 3-1 Neill Davis Jansen [Hadzimehmedovic] Wolves League A 5-2 Mykland Eriksson Tamudo Jansen2 [Roussel Burrniku] Sunderland League Cup Semi 1 A 1-2 Eriksson [Van der meyde Faber] Man Utd FA Cup 4th Round H 1-1 Tamudo [Van Nistelrooy] Liverpool League H 3-3 Jansen, Litmanen Riise OG] [Pongolle Smicer Ahlberg] Ipswich League A 3-0 Eriksson(2) Litmanen Man Utd FA Cup 4th replay A 1-1[4-3pens] Jansen [Van Noodle] Chelsea League H 0-1 [Torrado] Sunderland League Cup Semi 2 H 1-2 Eriksson [2 twáts] C.Palace FA Cup 5th Round A 4-1 [Ramzi] Kallstrom Neill Sigporsson Johnsen Bolton League A 1-1 Jansen [Ricketts] Sunderland League H 1-2 Sylla [stolcers Allback]
I conceded last minute goals in 4 of those games, against Southampton, Liverpool, Man U in the cup and Bolton, this has cost me 6 points!!!! in the league, and this could also cost me a european spot if i dont buck up my ideas! :very-mad: :extremely-pished-off-face: Other Rovers News Blackburn Boss Craig Stewart went into the Transfer market and signed 2 18 year-olds. In came Charlie Johnson from Millwall for 500k and also Scott Brough from Leicester for 2m! Brough has started a few games and has featured as a sub quite a lot, Johnson however is playing reserve team football for a year or 2, as he isnt quite ready for Premiership football. Brough is and attacking midfielder who can play on either wing or up the middle, he is very fast, has great flair and is a quality dribbler(no baby jokes please). Johnson is an out-and-out right winger, who is extremely quick and has skill to admire. So the Future looks good for Blackburn Rovers. Matt Jansen picked up Player of the Month in February(i think) he fully deserved this award with form in the last 5 games of 8-8-9-6-8. Can't wait til thursday, to start off i will create a new formation (non-narrow) and hopefully pick-up some form and keep a european spot, albeit UEFA or Champions League. Thought i'd keep it short and sweet Stewy

The only league game against a human manager was against Mike, where Sheffiled played some great football to clinch a 2-0. Mike was bemused by my tactical excellence and there was only ever going to be 1 winner. In the FA Cup 4th round I met Mackem "the moaner" . Sunderland away was a tough task, but we managed to come away with a 0-0 draw, had Vasilyuk put in some easy chances we could have won that game. Howevr in the second leg it was very dissapointing and we lost 2-0 at home, largely due to an awful own goal by riggott in the first 5mins. This gave us a very tough task to come back from such a bitter early blow. However, league form was still good and there is plenty to be optimistic about for the end of the season. We are still in the Uefa Cup and after a 1-1 draw away to Leeds in the Uefa Cup 4th round, we have a great chance of progressing, and avenging that awful 3-2 defeat to Club Brugge in the Uefa Cup final last year. Best result in the league came at home to Chelsea where we canned them 3-0, what a performance and this has made me confident of a CL place next season. With Carrick still recovering from an injury, I am lacking a class player, but when he comes back the Sheffield midfield will be very strong. All eyes are on next season when I feel the squad can really do well, as long as John Burbidge is at the helm.
Guest
Watch out, the mighty Fulham is back After a disappointing start of the season that lasted until January, Fulham is back to their natural state, ie winning. This session we played 10 matches, winning 7 ( 6 out of last 6 games ), drawing 1 and losing 2.
8.1.05 Leeds A FA Cup 3rd Rnd 0:4 27838 15.1.05 Newcastle H Premier Division 1:0 19287 Postiga 23.1.05 Millwall A Premier Division 1:2 21099 Said 30.1.05 Aston Villa H Premier Division 1:1 20170 Zetterberg 5.2.05 West Ham A Premier Division 5:1 34958 Zamora 2, Said, Elmander, Zetterberg 12.2.05 Southampton H Premier Division 3:1 19556 Donovan, Said, Kerr 16.2.05 Real Madrid ESP A Champions Cup Ph.2 Grp B 2:0 66006 Kerr, Moukoko 22.2.05 Real Madrid ESP H Champions Cup Ph.2 Grp B 2:1 26193 Kerr, Kaluzny 27.2.05 Wolves A Premier Division 5:2 37143 M.Kerr, Elmander 2, Donovan 2 5.3.05 Liverpool H Premier Division 4:2 20984 Zamora, Donovan, Ilola, Saha 9.3.05 Besiktas TUR H Champions Cup Ph.2 Grp B --- ----- 15.3.05 Dortmund GER A Champions Cup Ph.2 Grp B --- ----- 20.3.05 Ipswich A Premier Division --- ----- 3.4.05 Chelsea H Premier Division --- ----- 9.4.05 Bolton A Premier Division --- ----- 16.4.05 Sunderland H Premier Division --- ----- 20.4.05 Tottenham A Premier Division --- ----- 23.4.05 Man Utd H Premier Division --- ----- 30.4.05 Blackburn A Premier Division --- ----- 7.5.05 Middlesbrough H Premier Division --- ----- 22.5.05 Sheff Wed A Premier Division --- -----
. We started out with a shameful defeat at Leeds 0-4 which threw us out of the FA Cup. There's no national cups now to fight for, so our efforts will direct to reaching CL semis and at least geting a 4th place in the league. That won't be easy like you can see above we'll finish the season playing against four human managers (Sunderland,Blackburn,Middlesbrough and Sheff Wed) and Man Utd. After that cup defeat at Leeds we defeat Newcastle at home and lose to Millwall away. Next match was against Mike's Aston Villa, to be honest any of us could have win it, it was a nice game with many good scoring chances from both sides. Zetterberg opened the score at 53th minute but some Parker scored for them at 86th making it 1-1. Then came our winning streak with six straight wins. In the league we trashed West Ham away 5-1 and Wolves away too 5-2. Another great result was beating Liverpool 4-2 at the Craven Cottage. The 3-1 win vs Southampton was just predictable though we ended the game once again with only 9 players on the pitch. On Champions League we're on our way to the Quarters, after beating Real Madrid home and away . Kerr scored in both matches and showed a progressive increasing of form, proving that he's back to his best days. We are now 6 points above Dortmund who are 3rd with only two games to go, so there should be no problem in qualifying for the next round. Transfer Market I'm starting to p1ss my mates off with all the movements I'm making in the transfer market. We signed in during ths session two young values, Mikael Dorsin (D/DM RLC) from Djugarden on a free transfer and the yank Landon Donovan (F C) from Atl. Madrid for £ 4.7 M, a real bargain. Both are now adapted to the team and they're having regular first team football. I have so far 18 players who agreed to move to Fulham next season under the Bosman rule. I don't really think that I'll sign them all because it is my conviction that too many signings screw it all up, but this time it won't be easy to choose who to sign and who to drop: Defenders Florentin Petre from Ankaragucu Andrey Milevskyi from Napoli MartÃn Rivas from Ascoli Jody Craddock from Sunderland (sorry Steve:D) John Arne Riise from Liverpool Midfielders Petit from Boavista Carlos Paredes from Porto Steven Gerrard from Liverpool Richie Wellens from Charlton Andrea Pirlo from Bologna Francesco Gallardo from Sevilla Steed Malbranque from Sunderland (sorry Steve, but he's the good son:D) Fredrik Ljungberg from Arsenal Forwards Mido from Ajax Luca Toni from Brescia Mantorras from Benfica Bosko Balaban from Aston Villa (sorry Mike:D) Mikael Forsell from Chelsea Of course there are some other factors like work permits that can have an influence in my choice, but nobody can deny that with those men above, we'd be feared all over the world. MACKEM
Alright lads, Another great session for me where i made up a lot of ground in my chase for a european slot. The team is looking great at the moment and i stll can`t get my head round the fact that Jody Craddock would rather go to a `mickey mouse` outfit like Fulham than stay with a team thats going places ie SUNDERLAND. At the moment i`ve got the final of the L/C, Q/f of the FA cup and the latter stages of the UEFA cup to look forwad to not to mention the race for a CL slot which i think is going to be tough with Stew breathing down my neck and Nuno coming up fast on the rails. PREDICTION kEV will win the PL but only just from Jone **** up between me and Stew for the CL slot if Man u dont get it Nuno will be in the mix aswell for the CL slot John i think will be mid table (dont know what his problem is with me but there you go ) Mike is definately the dark horse amongst us as he has gt a solid foundation there and a couple more players he will be a threat. Alex Who knows If i can get my hands on any silverware this season i will be happy and get my first manager points as i am a manager points virgin ATM See ya all thursday

To prove it I will write a little about your amazing managerial skills Mackem is an amazing tactical wizard. This year he has really done well, and especially against human managers where he seems to really kick ass.I'm sure this kid can go far and I wish him well in the future.
