josha007 Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 Hi all.I was wondering if some experts at the game could help me in trying to create some better chances for my team. I've been playing FM for many years now but at the moment I'm getting slightly frustrated in that I'm having a lot of good possession but my players don't seem to want to play that killer pass. Below I've put some images to try and give you a better idea of my tactic and what happens during an average match.I'm Basingstoke in the Championship btw... Team Tactics: http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m247/josha007/TeamIn-1.jpg Team Instructions: http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m247/josha007/TeamIn-1.jpg Team stats for last match : http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m247/josha007/Teamstats-1.jpg As you can see my players are making lots of passes, but not too many of those 'key passes'.Although I have noticed that the number of key passes has reduced in the new patch.But I watch all my games and I can see that my midfielders are almost hesitating in trying to make a good pass and instead passing it sideways. My fullbacks are also very scared to cross the ball, which is kind of baffling.You can also see my strikers are hardly having any shots, probably down to the lack of service, so I'm relying a lot on my midfield or set pieces for goals. So has anyone any advice for me on how to improve?Is it my formation, team instructions?This is my attacking version of the tactic, in my normal one my fullbacks don't bomb forward.
