JohnnyHTFC
I apologise in advance as I'm sure this has been posted before but I've browsed through many pages and haven't been able to find a straight answer to my question, some say it works and others say it doesn't. Basically I got FM09 for xmas and it won't load on my Mac. I get a black screen followed by a grey screen on which it just seems to freeze until I eventually have to force quit the application. Reading the box I understand I don't meet the requirements stated, I have OS X 10.4.11 running on an iMac 2.1 GHz PowerPC G5. However, before I throw in the towel I just wanted to make sure if anybody out there could help me get it running? Is there anything at all I can try or has anybody else managed to get it running on a similar machine? Is my only hope to buy a new iMac or is there something I can download to get it working and save me the best part of £800? Thanks to anybody who can help. Johnny. CrashOverride
I beleive it wont run on power macs although there seems to be some difference of opinion on this. Im sure one of our mac users will be along shortly to provide better advice than mine.
4457
It's not supported on Tiger PPC. Some people have reported being able to get it to work with an Intel PPC.

Hmm, looks like its new iMac time then. All this so I can play FM09, it better be good! Cheers
Sam the Seagull
Yeah I think with Tiger AND a PowerPC, sadly you're going to have trouble. Runs very well (although sans 3D) on my 2-year-old MacBook with Leopard though.
4457
I did of course mean Leopard PPC, not Intel PPC. >_>
