bluedean
I haven't played the game since the 2nd day of release due to the box that stays on the screen when a player is booked or offside all the way through the match. Makes it unplayable. Did start a thread but was a) shot down in flames or b) thread removed. Asked where I could send my game back. No response. Asked for the email at someone at si. No response. As I said I won’t ever buy the game again. Once my question has been answered you can delete my account but this is a huge problem and when I paid £30 I expect some kind of response. I only want someone at si to answer this as i'm not interested in any opinions.
wazza
It must be a problem with your machine or graphics card as I have never encountered this problem, all these boxes disapear after the message has been said, therefore it is not a problem within the game

Gauvner
Have you tried exiting the match view and then going back on it? Some times this happens to me, but its not a big enough deal for me to kick up a fuss. But thats just me.
arnold_kidd
I have the same problem but only sometimes. I think it happens if the 3d highlight ends before the box disappears after an offside or foul, so the next highlight will still show this box. It will only disappear if there's another offside or foul in the next highlight that actually removes the box before the highlight ends. Hope it makes sense... CraigW
I have had this as well. However with my game when you click on the box it brings up the players details then you just click back and its goes back to normal. A bit annoying but nothing to write home about. Glenn Wakeford
This is a known issue and is under review. In our experience it is very rare. If you frequently experience it, could you post your dxdiag please? Cheers.
Gauvner
To be honest im actually suprised if anybody from SI decided to go out on a limb and post in here for you. You were very rude in your main post and have been rude to users trying to help you. As CaptainPlanet said, this isnt the official way, go and complain to customer services.
chopper99
I do get this issue sometimes but it's very rare since the patch and can be avoided by going into TV view for a while and then coming back out. It should be fixed (and I'm sure it will be) but to say that this makes the game unplayable for you is quite frankly ridiculous.
Spanky_202
There really is no need for that attitude, even if you don't agree with them they are at least reading and responding to your problem. A little courtesy goes a long way. Just because your card works with other games it doesn't mean that this can't be a cause of the problem and as for suggesting it could be a coding problem, if that was the case surely everyone would be suffering from the same problem (me myself I've not had this). As for sucking eggs(!) if you know it aleady why you asking us then?! I know your frustrated but come on we are trying to help here, have you rung the tech support line as suggested? The other thread you started was it posted in the bugs forum? (Edit - I see you have had a response while I've been typing this but I feel the original point stands of this is the community site, the majority will still try and help you out as long as your polite)

And that’s a crap analogy as the bank manager could answer any complaint. I could get the chief execs address if I wanted to. You can’t with these people. If there was an address to complain to, email or normal mail I would have done by now don’t you think?

VMX
lol, funny how he claims to be an expert on IT, gaming gear, CoD and stuff, rejecting to get any help from a regular user, only to find he doesn't even have his GFX drivers up to date, which is the most common cause of gfx bugs in games Don't think it has anything to do with this particular error, but seeing his driver's date is July 2007 and that the bug is very rare, you never know... I would certainly laugh my ass off
lukekarts
It probably is graphics drivers, particularly for mobile graphics they do tend to get left behind. I recommend you try the latest drivers and report back.
eple
I get this occasionally but as far as I know it only happens if I change screens in the short time the box pops up (i.e. if I change from seeing the match to the player rating screen) I got this both before and after I upgraded my system and changed from Win XP to Vista. The only thing left of the main hardware components is the graphics card which is a geforce 8800 GT card. Edit: actually it only happens when I make a tactical change.
