We are fighting for justice and we are looking for the best possible outcome. We start at Everton and we don't know where we will end up next. But let us see how it all unfolds. Our financial situation was so dire that we had to sell players, so some players have been sold. Demarai Gray has gone to Nottingham Forest for 7 million pounds. Alex Iwobi has gone to Al Ahli (KSA) for 24 million pounds. Jean-Philippe Gbamin has gone to Al Ahli (KSA) for 6.25 million pounds. Andy Lonergan has gone to Rotherham for 17k pounds. We also got knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Manchester United. Our results in the league have been up and down and we are struggling to score goals at the moment. The January transfer window has now opened and we are looking to strengthen the squad. Mason Holgate has left the club to join Al Ittihad for 6.5 million pounds. Dele Alli has left the club to join Al Hilal (KSA) for 4 million pounds and Michael Keane has left the club on loan to join Marseille. Also we have signed Edinson Cavani from Valencia for 1.8 million pounds. The Uruguayan strike partnership is back, here at Everton. Also we got knocked out from the FA Cup against Millwall. The 10 point deduction was horrendous when it happened but now we look like a stable team. This is a very strong group of players and I am confident that we can do well at the end of the season as well as in the upcoming seasons as well. The future looks bright for our team. It is good to see we have raised money from player sales and when the transfer window opens the wages will also be adjusted accordingly. We have made good progress in the league after our hopeless situation starting off at -10 points last season. Nearly 18 months on, we look like a stable Premier League club. I applied for the job after things were very much middling at Everton and it looked like we are consolidating our place in the league. Leicester are higher in the table, but Everton are a bigger club, so I have declined the offer, and it is a hard pass. I feel like it was the right time to leave Everton after nearly 18 months in charge, they slashed the transfer budget and I had no money to spend on players in January, so I felt it was appropriate to move on. After I left Everton in December, they hired Roberto De Zerbi as manager, and went into freefall and got relegated. It was the right time to leave Everton and jump ship after about 18 months in charge there. It was not quite working out when I was there and I was lower mid table when I left, the fact that the club sunk like a stone after I left shows that it was the right decision to leave the club.
