Players place of Birth

Hi everyone,

I haven’t played FM for years due to lack of time but have some more spare time now and I’m thinking of getting back into it. I fancy doing a save with PSG, but Athletic Bilbao style, where I can only play players who were born in Paris and it’s suburbs. I tried doing this on FM Touch (probably FM19 or FM20) but after a few years, I noticed most regens place of birth were mainly blank, so was wondering if this is still happening, or if a few seasons down the line, I will still have loads of options?

Nope, in every save I have played they get a place of birth.

I sometimes use the place of birth to give a distinctive nickname to the player, usually when their name is quite common...
