Hello boys,

Here we go, I just installed the game,

I'm unemployed, no license, zero experience as professional player, my only chance is to get hired in Varanama south/north.

This topic is GDR free, it is mostly dedicated to managers who like to see the progress of a team.

SEASON 12 - Premier League - 17° , avoided relegation by pure luck. 

 

SEASON 13 -  Premier League - 12° , struggled a lot, most of the time in relegation zone

 

SEASON 14 - Premier League - 10° , nice season, quite well played, we were sometimes top 7

 

SEASON 15 - Premier League - 7° , nice season, Qualified for Europa League

 

SEASON 16- Premier League - 5° , nice season, Qualified for the first time to Champions League.

SEASON 0

I tried to apply for maidstone and York without any success.  So I can only wait for a crazy president who will give me a chance.
10 Oct,  It looks like Brackley could hire me, I am literally applying everywhere in vanarama north/south.
There we go, I signed up for Brackley which is actually on postion 21 out of 24 teams. 
 

The team is not too much bad, but I need to work on Loans to make it stronger, Plus I need to fix a little bit the staff .

so  the results:

I bought a quite good advanced midfielder from the free market, 

1-2 (first loss) 
terrible time now, mood is very low and I am losing most of the matches

soooo, here I am, I had a lot of work to do, still I played from time to time.

Here the update:

SEASON 0 ended up in disaster. I got fired.

 

After winning against southport 3-0 ( I won even the game before 3-0) the president fired me. I was doing pretty much bad though but I was confident I could save the team, I just needed 10 points over the last 6 matches.

Anyway, I got fired and my successor couldn't do the miracle. I am sorry brackley, I failed.

What happened? I made some mistakes, first of all I decided to change captain, and the ex captain went into war against me. The mood of the team was costantly angry. I had many problem to get some good loans, but basically I failed to manage the players mood.

SEASON 1

I struggled to find a new team, I failed early summer to get hired because I didn't want to make promises to the president.

Anyway late summer I was jure by Chorley. I don't like the name of the team, I don't like the colors, still I am the new manager since 8/7/2023.

I literally had only 6 players on the team, and not really much time to build a competitive one before the beginning of the season. I did several mistakes, I overpayed some players, failed to get good loans ( it looks to me particularly hard to work with loans on Fm 2023).

Anyway, the season was decent, I ended up 8th (first slot not playing the playoff, matching what I was asked to do (nice position on vanarama north).

I am not really going to post screenshot of this season,

only few hightlights:

Connor Hall (my striker) scored 42 goals over 52 games played. Not bad. 

I need to work hard and make the team better if I want to achieve good results.

SEASON 2

 

this is actually my team,

Goalkeeper is quite good, I am happy abouy my defenders, not so many about my midfielders, and I have a decent attack.

I am doing good, I am almost mid-season and I am at second place.  Financial situation is pretty much a disaster. I work hard on free players and on loans (Everitt was quite a  good loans) 

Connor Hall already 22 goals.

Quick Update,

season 2 was a strong competition between my team and Blyth,

midseason we both had more than 60 points (over 23 matches).  Second part we both had some trouble but I could manage it while blyth definitely at some point started to lose a lot of matches.  

so I ended up first , HURRAH!

 

Connor Hall, by the way, scored 32 goals over 45 Matches but he decided to leave the team and I knew it almost since the beginning of the season.

Summer time Now, I really need to change a lot if I want to be someway competitive.

SEASON 3

So, i tried to change as much as possible, I confirmed a couple of loans from last season, then I tried to get some good player. Loans are key-secret if you want to climb and you don't have money.

I got two good midfielders (mcgregor and amankwah), one good forward (mavididi), then I bought from the free market some decent player.   From the confrontation, the team should be average, but I am optimistic I can find some good player from free during the season to make it better.

after 29 matches we are 6th with 49 points.  I don't really think we can hit the playoff, the team is just weak, we are going to need so much luck in order to save this position.  we will see

I ended up 5th, played the play off and won the first game but lost in the semi-final.

 

I am pretty much rushing this because I want to arrive at 

 

SEASON 4

The beginning of season was complete unlucky, so many draws while dominating the matches.

I was doing bad  (2 victories , 6 draws, 5 lost ),  just below the relegation zone, but you know.. with 2 or 3  victory you can shift to a good position.

and the team fired me?

Not sure how this works, after a promotion and playoff the next season,

I was fired after 13 matches (????) how is it even possible?

besides, I was able to renovate almost all the loans and my team was so much stronger than previous season, I just needed few time and a bit of luck. 

 

Not sure I like this though.  I am seeing If I can continue to play in the same league with another team but I don't really like to change team and it feels horrible to lose all the work for few unlucky matches.

so... I spent few months wandering why I was fired after 3 years and half full of success, I found this team with something like 6 players and zero reputation and now it was a solid team playing in vanarama national league, and This president fired me for 12 unlucky matches and a whole season still to play.

While I was still raging I saw the mister who came after me was fired too, after 10 matches or so,  I tried to re apply but I was rejected.

Some more weeks passed, and I was Hired by Scunthorpe, same league, 22th at the time, only 9 matches to play till the end of the season.

The team was a complete mess, something like 40 players or 45 most of them with very low skill.  I tried my best to bring some order, I usually am quite good doing that.  

The team level was really ridicously low, one good defender, one good midfielder , all the rest was really a mess.  

Anyway, I obtained quite decent results: 

5 victories, 2 draws, 2 defeats,

and I saved the team quite easily from relegation (16th place out of 24 teams)

What it is funny about this team, there is a passive of 2 MILLION, yeah you well understood... 2 Millions of money as passive, and they asked me to fix the situation. Well, I cannot do it so I really hope they will judge me for the results  xD

 

In the meanwhile, Chorley began to win every single match, with the team I built.. I knew it was very strong. They ended up at 5th place , they won the first game of playoff but lost the semi-final. They even bought 2 or 3 new players which look quite good to me. 

 

GOOD.  I will find you, Ungrateful president, with horrorfull team color and name, next season. I will do my best to beat you.

SEASON 5

I spent all the summer trying to get some good loans, I fixed a little bit the staff, my assistant coach thanks god followed me (we are playing together since the very beginning, thank you Stuart Nelson for beeing my right arm). So at least I wasn't all alone. 

I changed a couple of technical assistant and scouts, I sold for free so many dudes and I let the contracts expire of SO MANY players (i have NO idea why there were so many players in main team), for sure I know why they have a passive of 2 Millions. 

I forgot to tell, Scunthorpe is already Professional Status (I was semi-pro with chorley) , this is good, I can hire players more easily. 

20 years ago scunthorpe was in sky bet championship, so in the past they had quite some satisfaction. The training structure are obviously bad, but not as bad as Chorley (which had none).   Not that I care since obviously my goal is not to train (the structures are too bad to do it efficiently) BUT at least if I get a future with this team, I don't have to build every single step. 

 the team is now this:

I have 9 loans because I renovate three loans from previous season, which means I can get a total of 9 loans in the team, (I can use only five at the same time)

The tactic I usually use is this:  (I am not good as Mister, I mainly use the same tactic all the time, what I am good at (usually) is at building a good team roster,

you can maybe notice, Amankwah is the same player I had with chorley xD, it wasn't easy but I could get him on loan again (third year) even from a different team , the guy really likes me, and I trust him.

Quick Update, we are doing good, First position at the moment , Chorley of ungrateful president is on 12 position.

I played against Chorley the first match of the season, 0-0 even if we dominated the ball possession and we overall had more chances to score. 

this is the situation more in details,  my striker Lei Done is really fantastic for this category. If the ungrateful president of chorley would listen to me by changing the status into Professional (it helps SO MUCH with the training of corner and set pieces, and to set up a good team cohesion)  and if he would give me more time instead of trying to fire me after 11 matches, and actually firing me after 13 (after 3,5 years of hard work) , It could be the chorley into first position.

Chorley changed other players though, all the loans expired and they didn't renovate them, so they are much weaker this year and it looks like they are very short in number of players. Now that the CUP are close to begin, I have no idea how they can manage all the effort

so here comes the update.

I just completed the season, it happened something really crazy on this season, I was 1st place most of the time, then I started to lose all the matches.  I couldn't really do much, every single attempt to score from the opponent was a GOAL.  I had every match 65% ball possession, 25 attempt to score against 3 , and I was losing the game 3-1. I tried to understand why, I slowly lost the first place and than the second and so on.. til I was out even from the playoff zone.  I though my goalkeeper was bad, my defender was garbage but something wasn't fine about what was happening. 

I tried to THINK, because I am no playing FM since couple years and I tried to remember if I was doing something wrong, and then finally I got it.  I completely forgot that if you don't train the pre-matches Defensive Attitude (the one in light blue) this happens.  I completely forgot about it.    This is something I don't like at all about the game though.  

So yeah, I wasn't training it since A LOT.  I immediately began to train it and my defence started to work again.  

I came back and at the very last match of the season I gained the last possible playoff slot (7th).  

first playoff game : 1-3 but I scored two goals at over time.

semi-final playoff :  2-0 easy game

Final playoff : 0-0 .  at minute 119 I scored one beautiful goal canceled for offside 

Penalties:  I missed one, they scored all five.   

End of my adventure, pretty much sad though, because I am sure this team was by far the strongest of the league. 

Now I obviously failed to fix the financial situation of the club, and so the club is not offering the contract to me.

 

I don't really know what will happen.

so Five season already played am I am still in Vanarama national league, not really a good result, failing two times the playoff is really making this vanarama national league experience a nightmare.

Anyway scunthorpe offered me the new contract so I am fine,

in the meanwhile during the summer the property sold, David Hilton is no more.

The new property asked for a money loan to a bank, almost 2 Million which now scunthorpe will have to give back in somethig like 30 years xD   10.000 each month... something like that =)

at least, the financial situation looks fine now.

the funny part, they gave all the credit to me for fixing the financial situation xD

and I discovered this 3wasn't the first time, 

a loan from a bank already happened (3,3 M), checking the wave of total incoming of the club they asked for it in march 2025,

so right now  we have to pay back 24.000 each month to a bank, we will finish this in 2050  xD 

 

SEASON 6

in the meanwhile I worked on the team, tried to renovate the loans but I managed to confirm only my striker Done, one good offensive wing Milner and one midfielder Anderson.   All the rest I had to search for new loans, and I tried to search for some good player on the free market with few to none results. 

The team is for sure weaker than the previous season but If I can manage correctly the training and I work to keep the mood up, I am confident I might even play for the first place. Otherwise I should beable to reach without any problem the playoff again.  

I run the team confrontation based on all the Vanaraman national league teams, and it looks like the team is very competitive on technique and physical qualities, and quite decent in psychology,

anyway this is the team, you can check some interesting details (I already played 4 matches: 2 victories, 2 draws). It looks like the team is very balanced, most of the players are rated 3 stars from my coach assistant , my defence to be honest is a little bit weaker than the rest.

So, I completed the season.

the team was for sure weaker than the previous season but this time I managed the training correctly   (I think I had the same training-problem with Chorley , back when I was fired)

this is the result:

 

 

Hurrah! Scunthorpe got his promotion.   First place wasn't easy,  Dorking was such a strong competitor, 103 points against 102... the second half of the season we did a great work though.

+64 the difference between goal scored and taken, not bad. 

Dorking had such a BEAST as striker, look at these stast, this guy scored 56 goals over 43 matches,

 

 

Anyway, even if Dorking had such a beast striker we still won the league.   Here is a quick overview of all the matches, we only lost 3 games (the very last match of the season was a defeat unluckily).
We even reached semi-final of the Fa Trophy (not a great cup I know.. but I would really glad to win it, I tried hard and lost because of penalties.  

 

 

Anyway,   if you are interested about few statistic of the team here is the team panoramic, so you can check the average vote, how many minutes everybody played (it was pretty much balanced, everyone played quite a lot), goal scored, etc.

 

 

I don't have much to say, the team were really strong, we won a lot of matches by 4-0 or 5-0, My wing did a great work most of the time.
My striker DONE was injured 3 times, luckily my substitute (lawrence) did quite a good job too (20 goals).

Summer time now,  I really don't want to change much of this team, I feel like I am low on energy and this is going to be a mistake. 
 

Sky bet league two, we are coming.

 

Post Scriptum: I almost forgot, Chorley was relegated back to varanama noth.  I won against Chorley both matches (even if they wasn't so easy to play).
So the arrogant president who fired me after 13 matches got what he deserved.  They were using a very short number of players, and they already changed most of them since when I was the coach.

SEASON 7

First of all, the new president already left (???)

Another president came in... I literally renounced to build any relationship with the president till the society find some stability,

I am still paying a huge amount of money monthly (40.000) to repay for the loan they asked for in the past years. 40.000 each month is quite huge, it means almost 500.000 in one year.
The salary cap I have to respect this season is more or less 1,5 M.

I am not changing many players, I renovate most of the loans,  and I made few adjustments, I really hope this is enough. 

I am still working on the team, when I am done I will post the Comparison physical, technical and mental values, I hope it is not too bad.  Usually the gap between varanama national league and sky bet two is not that much.

early season update, the raking looks good but it might just be a good early season. We struggled a lot most of the time. 

 

 

Anyway, the team is this one, you can even check few statistic if you are interest in, and on the right you can see the salary, so you have quite a good panoramic here:

I have to be honest, the comparison looks good, I am trash only on elevation/head kick.
Still I struggled a lot to win many games. 
I will play to get one playoff slot, I will take everything more than this as a gift.

Here comes the update, season 7 was a success, I ended up at the 2nd place and I was promoted by math 7 matches before the end of the season.  I never lost my 2nd place though all the season, never risked anything.  The team gained confidence through the season, match after match.   I post the screenshot of my team and of the ranking, I think there is nothing more to add

 

 

 

Conclusion:  Lei Done 38 goals war quite impressive, double promotion by the way is never easy.

Now I will try to renovate the team, see what I can do.

SEASON 8

Summer was a nightmare, I could renovate only 1 loan which means I will need to search new loans and I will get them only on august which means they will know nothing about my tactic and they will have no time to create group with the other players.

few hours later...

I couldn't find good loans, I lost Lei Done because I had the chance to engage him buy I offerend a low salary and he chose to play for another team. Thsi is ashame and a big problem to me.  This season is going to be a nightmare, I have for sure a weaker team than season 7 and I am playing in a higher league.

Few Hours later...

I am in big trouble, the start of the season was a disaster, I lost matches which I was winning 2-0 till 10 minutes to the end, I missed penalties, team bad performed. The problem here, I have too many new players which can't play properly in my tactic and the Team Cohesion is very low.  

I run the Comparison with the other team of the league and it is not a disaster, I might guess a mid-place position but indeed I am doing very bad.  I was able to win couple games now, I really hope I can find a balance and get back, to save myself from relegation.  It is not time for success now, it is the time of suffering and hold on to each point we can gather.   

 

 

 

 

I posted here a panoramic of the team too,

as you can see I couldn't find a susbstitution for Lei Done ,  the striker I found on loan ( Spieght and Shuttleworth ) can't score a goal. they are constaly on offside, they goal get CONSTANTLY canceled.  I don't know what is the problem here but it is BIG.   The average vote is absolutely low 6,59 for shuttle, 6,63 for speight, I really hope this is due because they are new, and they need to learn the tactic.  

Anyway I will not give up so easily, I need to win from time to time and get through this horrible season.  In the meanwhile I need to find some good player from the free market who doesn't want a salary too much high because the team only allow us to have 1,6M salary cap which is really VERY LOW compared to other teams of the league.  

About the rest,  training facilities, staff etc.. almost nothing changed. We still have the same trash facilities we had when I first became the coach, the staff is still the same, I was able to hire one or two training assistant so at least the players don't become angry for the low quality. We still have only 3 scout.  The stadium is the same one (9.187 places).

If the president allow me, I would be happy to begin to increase a little bit the training facility for the main team, I don't really care about the youth team and his facility, but for the main team It would be quite a little help.
I don't really aim at training players , still it could be a little help preventing players from losing skills and maybe increasing a little bit some skill.

The society already refused to do it even if the initial steps don't really require a big economic effort, I hope if I can save the team they will start to help me that way. We have 1 M of money  but every month we have negative balance. This is largely due to the repayments we make to the bank, a result of the loan the society acquired prior to my tenure as the coach.

so, time to be solid and win some games,  crossed finger.

so, here is the update, I just concluded the season.
thanks god the team comparison wasn't lying, the team found cohesion and all the new players got confident with my tactic and the team beagn to win most of the matches.    My striker finally was scoring the goal chances instead of missing them, etc.
it was absolutely impressive the amount of points we got in the second half of the season.

At some point I really thought I could get one playoff slot but then I lost couple matches and the dream vanished.
In this season other 2 great things happened:

WE WON THE PAPA TROPHy  xD   ,  first trophy ever of this career.  it was funny and great.
secondly, the society agreed to improve the training facility for the main team. Unfortunately it costed a lot and ti burned out all the money we collected till now with much effort :(. I really hope this will be helpful in the future.

Few conclusions:

I collected 4 points over the first 12 matches of the regular season.... :(( every time I see that screenshot I can't believe with ended up almost playoff zone.
The society never thought to fire me, I still had 7,5 as valutation nand my job was solid even when I was 24th position.

I will try to to change many players because clearly the impact on the early season is very big.
I will try to train more public relation and team cohesion, as well as tactic early season. It might help if I change many players.

Summer time now, next season we should play at least for the playoff zone.

SEASON 9

boys...I already played all the season xD

I didn't really change much of the team during the summer, I found a couple of midfielders slightly better than mine, most of loans were renovated, no big news.  The season was easy indeed, I was almost all the time 1st position and I conquered the promotion 5 matches before the end of the season.

So, conclusions: 

after 9 season I achieved: 4 promotions, 2 playoff positions, 2 high-mid ranking positions just below the playoff, one failure season where I got fired by chorley and then I got hired by scunthorpe in the same leaague. 
It is not bad, Still I need to achieve the very last promotion from sky bet championship to premier league.

The team is quite garbage to be honest... I seriously need to improve at least the defensive department and I probably need a better goalkeeper.

I am still full of loans and I will make large use of them even the next season. I will stop to use them when (and IF) I will reach the premier league.

My striker Shuttleworth made 34 goas, average vote 7.32, 12 time man of the match: Impressive. 

I will see what I can do during the summer, it looks like I have for the first time quite a nice budget to spend for the player market.

quick update post-summer
I was able to find a goalkeeper a little bit better and some decent right and left defender.  I didn't change much with midfielder and attackers. To be honest I am quite worried...
only good new, we are making better again the training facility for the main team. IF we keep going this way I will try to build the team as much younger as I can  (right now it is too old, around 24/26 years old. it is not enough to make a good use of nice training facility, I should have a team around 20/22)

This is the team comparison... it looks absolutely nice on phisique quality, but I see soo many weakness on mental and technique compariso :((
I hope this is enough to play a decent season.

quick update, 4 matches played, We have 4 points.   I didn't think there could be such a huge gap between sky championship and league one.
besides, it is really difficult to improve the team because the society cannot sustain big salary. I post here a screenshot which is pretty much indicative of the situation:

the number 1 is paying almost 80M of salary.  
 

we can sustain 3M.
Our top player is payed 200k, their top player is probably payed more than all my entire team combined.

quick update,

I played a little bit more than half season, it looks like we can hold the door, §
we are in the middle of the ranking with about 10 points more than the team which is actually going to be relegated.

we are losing every single game played away, unfortunately, we can't keep the ball possession more than 35%.
I can't really do much for that, I just need better players.  Our only chance, we need to accumulate some financial resource and try to make the stadium bigger (it can still hold only 9k specatator, and most of them are annual subscribers)  in order to pay higher wages.

just finished the season,
my mood is absolutely devastated.  After an incredible season perfectly managed, great team cohesion, correct training we started to win every single match.  we won so many matches we finished the season in third position and we ALMOST got the second position for the direct promotion.  We went to the playoff and we dominated the semifinal.  We then played the final and lost 0-1 , literally one shoot attempt through all the 90 minutes. Nothing happened. they made one attempt - one goal . We made zero shoot, and obviously zerogoal.

so, this is the third time in this career we lose the playoff : ) . Two times we lost in the final.   

I want to be honest, if we achieved this promotion, next year it would be really tough for us. so maybe it is good one year more to be stronger.  We'll see, right now I am just very sad. I will post some screenshot tomorrow.

SEASON 11

I changed quite a lot of players during the market,

I am still working only on free transfers. I think I bought only the goalkeeper last season, of all the players I have. 

It looks like the society is giving to me a much higher salary cap (8M), which allowe me to engage 2 or 3 players with a salary close to 800k.  I changed one right defensive winger too, I engaged one new striker (shuttleworth wasn't good enough for sky bet championship, but thank you buddy for everything, you did a great work to get me here)

So, I should be a little bit stronger, I just hope we can have an higher ball possession because it was our main problem last season. We are probably just low on technique quality compared to the average sky championship player.

Now, some good new:  The stadium is getting larger, from 9k slots to almost 12k.  We payed more than 3M for that.
The training facility are getting better again (third time), which means we are now training the main team quite nicely.  This is fantastic.

I still have NO youth team (my under 18 is empty) , no yout team staff, no youth team training facility.  None.
It is too early for that even if... I might maybe considering to start improving the facility, because we have now 5 scouts, and we can scout through all GB (scotland, ireland etc.).
So finally, after 10 seasons, we can say We have at least a "decent" scouting power.
Playing with the youth team is quite a huge changement, it means we should scout only for player 15-17, then training them, then promoting to the main team, it is a completely different way of playing, and to be ready with that we should have Excellent youth team training facility.  I will see what it is possibvle to do.

another quick update (I am going offline soon anyway)

I had a bad 6 games in a row because I was devasted by multiple injuries. It never happened to me in 11 seasons.  5 players injured with 4 or more weeks,  2 red card with both player disqualified for 3 matches,  4 matches to play in 2 weeks,  all playes extremely tired which were suffering even more small injuries.

I was quite unlucky too because I dominated couple of matches and still gained nothing.

So I collected 4 points over 6 matches and we dropped down to third position. We literally wasted 10 points here. 

I hope we can get out from this nightmare time. Most of the injured players recovered so, finger crossed.

we did it,
Scunthorpe reached for the first time in his history the premier League.

As coach, it took to me 11 season to go from vanarama north/south  (6 of 6 england championship league) to premier League (1/6 england championship leagues)
I could be faster if only I didn't fail for three times the playoff and if I didn't waste at least two seasons because Chorley decided to fire me, back when we were in vanarama league.

Now, most of my players are asking for a new contract asking for HUGE salaries. I will see what I can do...
In the meanwhile I am upgrading training facilities and youth team training facilities, every time I can.
I am asking now for a new stadium too. If we want to grow, we need to be SOLID.

 

here the screenshots of the ranking and of the team, so you can check the statistics (minutes played, average vote, goal, decisive passing, man of the match) and you can see the salary and you can have a good panoramic view of the team right now.  I think I bought a very good right defender, it is a 17 years boy, absolutely promising.

anyway, quick update about Season 12, the beginning of season was terrible as I thought (I changed too many players - I made the team stronger in term of players but I destroyed the team cohesion).   

I won't post the team comparison because it is embarassing... we are almost the worst team everywhere on mental/technique stats...  
Phisique qualities, we are not too bad since I pay quite a lot of attention to those qualities (speed-balance-strenght-agility) when I choose the players.

so, two first matches of the season 0-4 and 0-4 without even seeing or touching the ball during the whole 90 minutes (against chelsea and bournermouth). 
6 points after 13 matches,
9 points after 17 matches, we were clearly on the very last spot of the premier league.
 

then, finally, my intense training on team cohesion and public relation and my costant effort to keep up the players mood, brought some good results.
we won 4 of my last 6 games (plus one draw, one defeat.)

So right now we are on 13° position, 5 points far from the relegation zone. 

Still a lot of struggle and hard work to do, but at least I am a little confident now.
Avoid the relegation this season should be fundamental,
I am 100% certain, with another summer and 3 or 4 more strong players we can place ourselves at mid ranking position till we build a strong youth team and we raise good players, in order to compete for the top positions of the ranking. 

last but not least, we are upgrading again the training facilities. Our main problem right now is the stadium, even because there was a Bug: I already upgraded the stadium to 12k slots, but for some reason there was another stadium upgrade, planned by the president.
When the society decided to complete this previous work I found out the stadium were back to 10k.   So now I have to work on it Again... pretty much boring.

season 12 is over.  we were able to avoid the relegation by pure luck and only because there was someone else worst than us.  The team was horrible, attitude war horrible, defensive compartment was horrible.  We had some very rare moment of lucidity and we collected some points from time to time but I want to be honest here: this team deserved the relegation SO MUCH. Swnasea ended up -34 goal differnce, we ended up -33

I am so angry I want to change every single player.  We will see what it is possible to do.

quick update,
I changed many players trying to engage players with a good potential, less than 20 years old.  It was probably another mistake, I should have engaged players already strong. We are playing very poorly, after 17 matches we have 14 points    
still, we are not into relegation zone because there are 3 teams which are playing even worst than us. 
Struggling like this is not even funny...

season 13 is over, it was again a very poor season, we was most of the time inside the relegation zone or one point above.  Thanks to a decent season final (3 victories in a row) we were able to jump to a safer position but you should not be tricked by the 12th position, the season was Horrible. Anyway we conquered 42 points (eleven more than previous season) and the goal difference is -15, much better than previous season.  it means we are slowly growing. From the team screenshot you can see how much I am trying to focus on training instead of buying "ready" players.  Training facilities are Excellent so we definitely CAN train players. 

I have now at least 4 or 5 players who are growing well.

SEASON 14

We need to continue the work, find new players with 5 stars potential and nice personality who I can already use for the main team.
I am not focusing on under-18 team right now, I can't use financial resources to find and buy 15 years old players around the world.

I am wondering if I should drop the 4-3-3 module and go for a 4-2-4 , because I keep thinking 3 midfielders are too many. I will think about it during the summer.
