[Suggestion] "Hattrick" type Match Plans

The game would improve for many players if Football Manager would adopt a more Hattrick.org-type match plan editor under the tactics selection. You can make a match plan and then use the plan for certain fixtures. You can carefully plan the starting formation and substitutes, which players to substitute should a certain condition be met (replace right winger if losing by 1 goal on 60 minute) and which player you use should a player be injured in a certain position. That way the player gets the credit when going on holiday instead of having the assistant manager stand in for the fixture (fun fact: despite being on holiday the manager still takes part in team training). If no match plan is selected for the match then the assistant manager will still fill in for the manager and make their own decisions during the match. That way go on holiday could be replaced with simulate forward. There are many players who do not wish to watch the full game play out as it is quite time consuming (and frustrating if the team loses) while making substitutions and tactical changes, and just wish to simulate the game using preset instructions.

The way this idea will work is you create a Match Plan under Tactics -} Match Plans and add the Match Plan in Schedule for example by clicking a edit button in Result row just like you click attend match for teams you can not manage, there you will be redirected to Match Plans menu where you can select a plan from your plan list. If a match plan is selected for a match, the player will not play the game but once the fixture arrives and the player is not on "holiday" the player will see the fixture and be able to click simulate to simulate the match.

You can not create a new tactic on Match Plans, but you can select a created tactic and switch between the 3 saved tactics. There will be at least 4 categories you can edit in Match Plans: Tactical instructions (changes in tactics depending on result), player list (player role used in each of the 3 tactics, and injury replacement selection, it will be set as automatic as default, meaning the most suitable replacement from substitutes will be selected in case of injury), substitutions (when substitution for the starting player occurs with a AND/OR condition system like used in Search), complete team talks (you can also select which team talks are used depending on the current result (all options will be visible and can be changed (match start/half-time/extra-time/end, winning/losing/drawing), the default setting will be set as no team talk)). Only the original 11 positions used in the tactic are present at the beginning, you can add additional substitutes with a + button. Only the highest ranked substitutes in the list will be included in the match squad, if there are a total of 20 substitutes and the league rules only allow 7 substitutes, only the first 7 who are not injured will be included in the match squad (excluding the players filling in for the starting 11 and who can not play in the match). It would also be useful if the player has the option to add reserve and youth players to the list.
