xray1324 Posted March 29, 2023 Share Posted March 29, 2023 (edited) So, I wanted to do a second save this year but using Touch version (so FM21 Touch) so it'd go along quicker. Something interesting I noticed is that Southampton, are in the Premier League. Northampton? Currently irl in league two, but in FM21 Touch? They are in league one?! Stuff before the Save Our Tactic? Fairly simple, basically something that should keep us in the league. August 2020 Results One friendly match before the league started, that made me laugh! Signings Just one signing I'm hoping gets finalized before the beginning of the season, our main goalkeeper that we've signed on loan before the save started was Jonathan Mitchell, a vanarama level goalkeeper. We've been looking to upgrade on him, and I know he's going to be unhappy that he isn't playing, but frankly that 3-3 draw is shocking defensively. Signing him for fairly cheap too, a small 8k, and managed to get him down to 1.7k wages he wanted to join us. 2 year deal. Achievements 6th Place (playoffs) finish in League One in the first season.Goals Get to the Premier League. Right now, that's it. xray1324 Posted March 29, 2023 Author Share Posted March 29, 2023 Preseason Transfers In Glenn Morris Meant as a fast and quick improvement to our goalkeeping, though he's already on the decline, but has done pretty decently in the league. Josh Benson Was linked with him in the deadline day, and quickly swooped to sign him on loan once the scout report said he was pretty good. Lorent Tolaj Tolaj is effectively what looks like an out and out striker, and hopefully will finish well when he gets the opportunity from the bench mainly. Signed to give us more threat from subs, and he might get a few starts when our main strikers are injured or tired. Which is likely. Ian Harkes Rotation option in midfield, and he looks fairly decent in all areas really. Cameron Salkeld Not a great player, but very versatile, that's what's important. Scott High Young midfielder who can be potentially bought next season for cheap-ish, if he performs well we might. Scott Wharton Pretty decent defender though looked better in the scout report. Lewis McCann Admittedly a potentially bad signing as he's not likely to play often, but he's not on any wages so that's fortunate. He has started and scored a goal, though! Kaine Hayden Versatile youngster who can fill in at rightback and right midfielder. Aston Oxborough Backup goalie. Aaron Ramsey Pretty solid player, fairly expensive but he should be good enough for us. Out January 2021 Results We're still holding onto playoffs, which is good. Samuel Looks pretty decent and won't cost us much on wages, which is good. Kenny Daniels Looks fairly solid really all things considered. Cheap wages too, which is good.
