sven78 Posted March 11, 2023 Share Posted March 11, 2023 In my third season with Feyenoord, in Jan Transfer window Newcastle & Celtic activated the very low release clause of £28.5m for Datro Fofana (couldn't sign him without it, wouldn't let me put it higher).....thankfully Endrick was still at SEP with a £20m release clause and after 2.5 years trying he was finally very reluctantly interested My problem.....after 3 weeks with the club and failing to sign a defender in Jan that he believed improved us.....he has handed in a transfer request!!!! Thankfully I got through the window without a bid, I assume he couldn't leave anyway but is this salvageable. If I sign someone in Summer will he change his mind?? Really need to find a solution. Scored 5 goals in 2 games in Uefa Europa League (new format in 2024/25 and has 5 goals in 5 in league games....I see what the hype is.
