Motlhen
I am going to try to win every competition with a team that's never won it before. I've started with the top 6 leagues loaded (Eng, Spa, Ger, Fra, Ita, Bra) and will start at club level, but eventually look for international employment too. The first competition on my list to win is the UCL. That means that the following teams are off limits: ... This thread will be following the managerial career of CM03/04 Pompey youth star Supat Rungratsamee: Rungratsamee started as a rapid 15yo in Portsmouth's Reserves, but he quickly broke into the first team & not very soon after interest was drawn from clubs all across world football. At 21 he had amassed 22 goals in 27 caps for his country, Thailand, as well as establishing himself as a first team starter for Bayern Munich! However, unfortunately, a horrific injury cut his playing career short at only 23 years old. Eventually capped 42 times for Thailand and with a huge global reputation, he turned his demise into dedication. As a serial winner on the pitch, he aimed to become the same from the sidelines. By 29, he had finished studying back-to-back coaching badges whilst working his way up through the leagues in the women's game. After dominating the WSL for 3 seasons & winning the WCL last season too, he has now been handed his first job in the men's game. At one of the elite teams in world football... Motlhen
Akanji has immediately become my least favourite player after injuring Haaland with an act of violent conduct 5 minutes in to our intra-squad "friendly". Haaland still managed to get on the scoresheet beforehand. He should just about make it back for the start of the season, we'll see. Motlhen
That was one hell of a pre-season, but our main rivals are up next in a match I'd absolutely love to win. Haaland is available, but he's lacking match sharpness. What better way to gain some by starting him!?
Motlhen
No real surprises in our lineup. But some big surprises from the Liverpool camp! Not only has VVD missed out due to injury, but Liverpool have had an injury crisis at GK. Of all 3 of their first team squad GKs, only 35yo Adrian is available. But Klopp has chosen to give youth a shot and chosen 18yo Harvey Davies between the sticks. ...if we weren't favourites before, we have to be now! Motlhen
Community Shield An early yellow for both Cancelo 5' & then Rodri 8'. ...we can't afford to go down to 10-men against this Liverpool side, these guys need to be careful. 11' A superb Bernardo Silva cross is met by the head of Grealish at the far post to thump us into a 1-0 lead! 14' The game is getting feisty!Cancelo with another wreckless challenge & he's very much on an orange card, just before a robust challenge ends Bernardo Silva's evening early.Cancelo could have counted himself lucky to be on the pitch... if I hadn't have decided to take him off already! An early double substitution:Cancelo <> Ake Bernardo Silva <> Foden 28'Salah breaks free from Ake cutting in to the box on his own but a limp shot rolls straight in to Ederson's gloves.Ederson lumps it forward, Gundogan feeds Foden who drives to the byline before cutting it back for Haaland to bag a debut goal! 33'Ake picks up a yellow card. Salah is causing all sorts of trouble down our left side. 45+1'Haaland stops Gundogan from making it 3-1 just before the break by accidentally blocking a strike from the edge of the area destined for the back of the net.Ruben Dias picks up another yellow card as Liverpool try to counter on the break. 64' We're comfortable at 11v11 and my priority is to keep it that way!Ruben Dias <> Akanji Ake <> Rico Lewis Yellow cards: Ake 69', Lewis 71' 80'Salah smashes the bar from a freekick from way out. It's the closest they've come. We're coasting! ..but I'm aware one goal could change that. ... 33 days in the job & already my first piece of silverware! We exploited a weak backline, but we really got away with facing an impotent Liverpool frontline today. Foden came off of the bench early to claim the MotM. Motlhen
Aug 22 We've had a few injuries to contend with. But they haven't stopped us from totally dominating our games so far. (Although Newcastle were winning 2-0 at HT.) Haaland has 13 goals in 6 games. Cheat code! Arsenal have matched our perfect record and we have the Manchester derby next. Liverpool had a rocky start, but just made a big statement by matching the league's biggest win record.

Motlhen
There are a few contracts for key players that I want to sort out.Walker is the highest priority considering our lack of depth at RWB, then Gundogan.
Motlhen
A clean sweep of the PotM awards. But Arsenal pip us to the YPotM award. & Arteta was chosen for MotM. He was perceived to have a harder set of opening fixtures, so despite our GD being over double Arsenal's after 5 games, I have to settle for 2nd spot. (not bitter)
Motlhen
The Manchester Derby We dominated every stat apart from the one that mattered. Rashford scored with one of United's few chances as the game opened up towards full time. To compound our misery, immediately from kick-off after scoring Rashford injured Haaland and we had a limping forward for the last 5 mins. Luckily Haaland's injury wasn't too bad in the end. But Gundogan's injury could really hurt us, especially as Silva is out again too.

Motlhen
Sep 2022 We're favourites! This month we saw some fragility. After losing the Manchester derby, we were outclassed by Brighton who could've won the match by a lot more. We've started well in our UCL group & the huge win over Liverpool should hopefully get us back on the right trajectory.
Motlhen
I've been looking at short-term loan deals for players that could provide some squad depth with all our injuries.Hazard was one of the top players & we managed to agree a deal with Real Madrid. But I cancelled the deal as they insisted that if we win the Premier League we pay them £13M and sign Hazard permanently.

Motlhen
Oct 2022 A very busy month started with us throwing away a 2-0 lead at Palace. We've been great in the premier league aside from that result & a terrible loss at Nottingham Forest where we had 40+ shots to their 10. We've qualified from our UCL group with a game to spare, but it worries me that we couldn't beat Barcelona home or away.

Motlhen
Dec 2022 Haaland proved he was human against Liverpool. Arsenal got lucky against us, which drops us down to 2nd. The board have been pretty generous as we look to bring in higher quality squad depth. Another injury to Walker highlights the importance of bringing in new additions! Awards Haaland, Haaland, Haaland. We've had our youth intake preview too. It's extremely defensive! I guess those are the positions I'm hoping to strengthen so I'm happy. Motlhen
Jan 2023 A pretty significant win against Chelsea set us up for a perfect month! Motlhen
After failed attempts at buying Justin Timber & Gvardiol due to their huuuge asking prices, I settled on bringing in a player who knows the premier league and can provide a solid replacement for Walker whilst he's out for a much cheaper fee than we were expecting to spend on either of the other two. I also am happy to have tied up Gundogan's contract for another 2 seasons with the club.
Motlhen
Feb 2023 We dropped 4 points in two tough games and only scraped past bottom-of-the-league Nottingham Forest. We still have an advantage over Liverpool having played 2 games less than them, but we could have been out in the clear! We do have one foot in the UCL quarter finals after a convincing dismantling of Porto. We're approaching the business end of the season with Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle all languishing in mid-table whilst Wolves occupy a top 6 spot and West Ham continue to defy the odds up in 3rd. Motlhen
Apr 2023 After blitzing it through the last few months, April was a huge reality check. We lost 4 games in quick succession including 3 in a row!? The league losses (& draw) mean we lose our advantage over Liverpool, we only just made it through to the UCL semis and the last loss saw Liverpool knock us out of a second cup competition this season..... so guess who we've been draw against in the UCL semi final. Motlhen
What a way to get to the final!!! That was outrageous. Motlhen
Following the league: We matched Liverpool's loss in the merseyside derby with an agonising 95th minute penalty loss in the Manchester derby. Motlhen
After an emphatic 3-0 win against Brentford it all comes down to the last matchday. We're in command. Motlhen
Final Matchday 1' Haaland misses a glorious chance to take the lead within the first 30s. 10' Mahrez receives the ball out wide as we recycle the ball from a cleared corner. With our defenders all still up from the back, he cuts inside and opts to shoot from the corner of the box, catching the keeper out at his near post with a missile! 1-0. 17' Phillips with an incisive through ball to meet Foden's cut inside & he makes no mistake, slotting the ball into the back of the net. 2-0 and we are in control. 23' Almiron & Joelinton combine to create space in behind for Isak, he picks out the bottom corner with ease and our lead is halved. 2-1 game on. 27' Isak is threaded through again, gets his shot away and the deftest of touches from Ederson diverts the ball onto the post and out for a corner. We're living dangerously and need to improve. 33' De Bruyne with a freekick floated in and Dias flicks it past the oncoming keeper! 3-1 can we keep our two-goal cushion this time? 35' The answer is no! Isak again. He had way to much time on the ball in the box to turn and pick his spot for 3-2. HT Aaaand breathe.. it's all been happening here, but not much has happened so far in the Liverpool game which is goalless at the break. We're in pole position with 45 to go, but that could change very quickly if we don't do our job. 53' Liverpool have scored and are right on our tails again. 63' Liverpool have got a second. 68' Pope makes a hash of a rushed clearance allowing Bernardo Silva to intercept with a header down to Foden on the edge of the box. He gets it out of his feet and uses power to punch the ball past the 'keeper for 4-2. 85' Ederson is forced into a couple of saves. One's he should be making, but we are extremely grateful our 2-goal lead is being kept in tact. FT WE ARE CHAMPIONS!!! Motlhen
Champions League Final 1' 30 seconds in and Ederson rushes out to just about slam the ball clear before Lukaku is on to it. 4' Haaland & Gundogan both have decent half chances, created by one another, but comfortably saved by the 'keeper. 15' HAALAND!!!! Ederson with a hopeful punt upfield and Haaland uses his strength to hold off two defenders, rounds the keeper and slots it home. 27' Quick feet from Mahrez in the box and he's tripped. Penalty!Haaland? NO! It's saved. 38' Haaland picks out De Bruyne on the edge of the box and he screws the ball just wide! Are we going to live to regret these big missed opportunities to double our lead? HT We've been on top, but we only have the one goal lead to show for it. We need another big 45 minutes. 56' Ruben Dias has come close from a Mahrez corner a couple of times now and he's getting closer. The latest effort rippled the top of the net on its way over. 67' Haaland nicks it, battles to keep and gets his shot away but an outstretched leg from the goalkeeper sends it wide. Another big chance goes begging. 85' Haaland finally gets his second! Gundogan with the lovely thread through. We've got one hand firmly on the trophy now! 86' That's the closest they've come to scoring! Straight from kick off is put through and smashes the ball into the side netting at Ederson's near post. 90+1' The icing on the cake: a Haaland hattrick and that penalty miss in the first half seems like a distant memory now. Lovely play down the left hand side to put it on a plate for Haaland in the six yard box for a tap in. The celebrations are well and truly under way now!!!
