Unbalanced Regens after adding a new league (from View-Only to Playable)

I am halfway through a Scottish save, and I loaded up Germany, Italy, France and Spain as View Only - as I wanted to potentially move to these leagues after but I didn't want to add the league through the add/remove league function as last time I did that it loaded 26/27 year old world class regens.

I have loaded players in those leagues through the Custom database, but I dont want to change these to playable if it means that it is going to flood my database with these 26/27 year old regens.

 

Any ideas?

Adding leagues to get great regens is a very long time 'hack' and used by many to bolster their own teams on the cheap.

This problem has existed for years.
