MacBook Pro i9 with AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB

So FM23 is telling me that I can't play the 3D match engine on my MacBook Pro I9 with the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB graphics card. It's actually a more powerful graphics card that the one that ships standard in the i7 models. Does anyone know what the issue might be?

I just paid $95 AU for the game, so not really happy. I didn't have issues with FM22 (or any of the other older versions).

What's the actual error message - and please supply the exact specs for the MacBook. 

Can you go to your Mac and post a screenshot of the Battery settings? 

 

System Preferences, click Battery, click the Battery tab, then deselect the automatic graphics switching checkbox.

In macOS Catalina 10.15 and earlier, this setting is in Energy Saver preferences.

The game says that I can't play the 3D graphics and shows 1 out of 5 stars. When it goes to the match, the game is in 2D mode and when I switch to 3D theme stops.

I've included specs of the computer and the battery switch was already toggled to not allow battery to change graphics.

the computer is:

2.4 Ghz 8-Core Intel Core i9
AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB
32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Anyone from sports interactive monitor these posts and have thoughts on why this might be happening? The game is basically unplayable when you get up to the 3D match.
