Carambau
"Do You Believe In Miracles? Yes!" We lost 2 more games. But it didn´t matter in the end. We are the Champions! No time for losers ´cause we are the Champions of the World! The goal king strikes again. And 2 of our players lead the Average Ratings. Nunez has been world class this year. SIX of our players in the Team Of The Season. Season Stats The main factor was our experienced defense. They laid the ground work for the title. Meslier good as ever. Diop & Felipe excelled at the age of 34! Fellow Oldtimer Galan proved his class one last time with 19 assists, while our Academy product Raul Goni gets better and better (13 assists). Gravenberch & Fernandes were the dynamic duo in central midfield, while on the wings once again Gonzalez and Anfindsen ruled. They made sure the ball ended up up front in the box. Nunez then made short work of it: 63 goals in 54 games, which was the other main factor. The third factor were the top 2 clubs underachieving and us simply being consistent in the league. This title looks like a one-off, but we keep believing. Next season will see many of the older players leave, so this could start a new era at Vigo. Carambau
The Transfer Window Players out We sayg goodbye to Oldtimers Luiz Felipe and Javi Galan. Some young players who didn´t make it where also sold. The rest are match practice loans. Players in A new leader for our central defense (Viti), a swiss midfield youngster (Ngamiteni), two Belgian talents (Roelandt & Depuydt), and two more backups (McGuiness & Heimdal) for our defense. The Team I don´t think we can challenge for the title this season with a young squad like this. There are not many leaders left and the defense has to gel and grow which will take its time. Key Players The Mexican winger. Our Academy Product, he already has 10 caps for Spain. The Goal Machine. Pre-Season Friendlies Only 2 friendlies, but lots of goals again. Carambau
Start of the Season 2031/32 A rather mediocre start to the season if you compare it to our last seasons. Outside the European Places after 10 games. Nice win against Arsenal for us. But still early days of course.
Carambau
A Big Surprise Two perfect months in the league for us. Yes, the opposition wasn´t the best of the best but you have to beat teams like these too. And with that we are back in second place. Nunez already got 20 goals by now. Two more defeats in Europe. Not qualifying is a real possibility now... News Spoiler This is incredible! A Celta Vigo player wins the Ballon d´Or! Who would have thought of this? DaNascimento
congratulations for your progress with vigo so far. Really like saves in spain. Nice to see you can keep up with Real and Barca. In my Valencia save, Barca unfortunately became perennial champions with several undefeated seasons... And good that you have Prime-Benfica-Darwin in your team and not the Liverpool-Nuñez

Carambau
Happy New Year We started the year with 2 defeats in a row, but then we picked up pace and were in full swing by march. Despite losing 3 times, we are in 3rd place still. Way ahead. A rather easy draw saw us go all the way to the final. We will meet our old rivals there. What a way to finish the group stage! However, it wasn´t enough to qualify directly. We had to go to the playoffs. Playoffs & Knockout round 1 Well this was a nice treat! We first beat Club Brugge to reach the next round and then won after penalties against our old rivals Barcelona! A chance for revenge for last season in the quarter finals. Winter Transfer We sign croatian Ivor Alvir, another winger talent. Edited January 18 by Carambau
Carambau
The End We lost 2 more games. But won all other games. A second place finish in the end. Insane 48 goals. Another Copa del Rey for Celta Vigo! We made it to the semi finals, having our revenge on Milan in the quarters. But Porto was too strong. Season Stats I let the stats speak for themselves one last time. This save has finally come to an end. It was a wild ride to put it mildly. So lets have a final look at the trophies won under Manager Joe Baxter. Thank you all for following! It is time to say good bye and to move on to new adventures!
