Do any of the transfer embargo settings stop clubs from being able to SELL players?

Having tested this thoroughly, it doesn't appear you can completely ban a club from selling players.

As such, I've zero idea of the difference between 'Transfers Disabled' and 'Global Transfer Ban.'

Also, if you pick multiple options, it just doesn't work and no restriction are applied.

do you want them to be with the team forever or do you just not want them to leave in the first 3 years?

Ideally the former

I don't know/remember any solutions to that

but I'd take the latter

This I know

1. Select players and mass edit them(to save time, the group of players are chosen by you)

2. Under contract length, pick a date how long you want them to play for(i.e 30.6.2044)

3. Go to Future Transfer > pick a team in one of the nations that you want active(i.e pick an english team if you will have England loaded), make sure the team is not extinct. Set the transfer date to 1 day after his contract expires(i.e 1.7.2044) there should be an option to 'retire after contract expires' in FT, if you want them as staff quickly pick that and set their contract to expire 1 day after they dign for the new club(I haven't tester this, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work

Hopefully I explained it well, explaining things have never been my strongest side
