Btw do Germany just not have a striker anywhere?

Actually, it's an issue for many teams in this tournament.

As far as true #9 with quality goes, a lot of teams just don't have anyone at a decent level.

Brazil, Germany, Spain, Portugal (excluding Cristiano), Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium (Lukaku is injured), Argentina just has Lautaro and he's way better in two striker partnerships. France also doesn't have anyone who's not old. Benzema is 35 and Giroud is 36.

Seems to be a recurring theme among top nations.

Surprisingly one of the few things England have a considerable advantage with. Kane is first choice obviously but there is also Callum Wilson on the bench.

Fair. The death of the no.9 is sad. :(

I blame Pep.

More of their squad (8) plying their trade in the Bundesliga compared to their own league (7)

Most of them are key players for their clubs too. It's not like they are making up the numbers in Germany.

Kamada, Doan, Itakura, etc.
