Pearomaniac
Our recent form has been nothing short of impressive with our striker Andrew Dallas playing the season of his life with 17 goals scored in 25 matches. After 25 matches in the season this is how the board looks at the moment. We have notched up 6 victories in a row and we are currently standing at the second place which i doubt we will manage to hold untill the end of season, personally i would be more than happy with a top 10 finish at the end of the season. The time has come for new youth intake and it looks more than good. Defenders is where i was thin before the start of the season and if the intake turns out that good like they suggest i dont mind playing some 16 year old kiddo in the first team if he deserves it,
Pearomaniac
So i lost it, in game and in real life. I was playing against Middlesbrough, a promotion contender and understandably i was the outsider. Anyway, reds took the lead in 57th and i turned the match onto its head at 82nd minute when i took the lead. My lead followed by two goals scored in two minute which made me lose the match. Thats not what made me lose my temper, its the press that drove me crazy, literally. So we are a team which was dubbed for a tough relegation battle, which is an outsider in every single match, which is overachieving on every field of sport we took part and the press asks me how do i plan to improve my team? Really? **** off!

Pearomaniac
Troubles in paradise boys. It seems like all of a sudden everything stopped working. I have troubles finding back the form i had and before u know we got five losses in a row, whats even worse QPR was the last team in the league when i played them while Luton was 22nd. Im trying to keep the morale high with a team meeting which did improve it a little bit but im not optimistic it will do wonders for us.
Pearomaniac
OK, i want some sort of shoulder tap for this because this was ****ing brilliant! Among all this bad run of form i ran into fixture congestion which leaves my main players not fully fit for a match against 18th placed Peterborough. So i had to do some sort of wonders for this match. So this is what happened. Peterborough is on a poor form not getting a win in three matches (2L 1D) and im trying my best to motivate my team to get a win here and stop this bad run of form we are on. My first choice AMR A. Assal is injured and i have to play my striker Z. Robinson as AMR while i leave A. Pepple and A. Dallas as starting strikers although they are not fully recovered from a last match against Fulham 3 days ago where they both played 90 minutes. Match starts and first half goes on on even terms, even possession with even shots on target but no goals were scored. At half time i urge my players to reach into the deepest corners of their will and give it all that is left in them to finally put an end of this bad form that we have been dragging behind us for five matches. Second half starts, 46th minute and a corner for Peterborough and after a somewhat poor intervention Lewis Miley, Peterboroughs AMC generates his inner Cristiano Ronaldo and scores this Puskas award nominee to take the lead for Peterborough. 2023-02-01 14-43-20.mp4 I watch in disbelief but what else can i do than to applaud. Its 49th minute and both of my strikers are dying on the pitch, they dont even have enough strength to pull of a decent shot at goal. Josh Davison is the only striker on the bench available but he is also not fully fit to play as he is dragging an injury and also has not been playing much games so his match sharpness is not good so i decide to hold on with subbing him in and i focus on A. Dallas who is also on the edge of his strength so i replace him with Marcus Ifill, my winger who will play as AML on this match. While i put Chace Johnston who started this match as AML in the position of striker, position he played three times this season, all three times as a sub for no more than 17 minutes every time. I try to fire up my team from the touchline along with the fans as they are all down and sick of this form we are on and i hope for the best. Brace yourselves, its coming. 55th minute 1:1. In swinging corner from A. Pepple who finds enough strength to fire a corner on the first post for C. Good who places the ball behind the goalkeeper and brings us back on even terms. A. Pepple is out on 65th minute and is being replaced by Josh Davison. 74th minute 2:1. Throw in at the opponents penalty box played short to J. Bowden who has a defender on his back, finds enough strength to turn around and direct a cross in the heart of the box which is met by Chace Johnstons header and we take the lead. 77th minute 3:1. Ball for Marcus Ifill who receives it at the half of the pitch, runs on the left to the penalty area, stops and turns, directs a cross in the box with his right for Chace Johnston who places another beautiful header for 3:1. It is not over! 87th minute 4:1. Ivo Kaczmarski wins the ball on our half and plays the ball over the defence 30 meters from the gall which was received perfectly by Chace Johnston who has no trouble beating the keeper with a defender on his back for final result of the match 4:1. Chace Johnston, Chace Johnston, Chace Johnston, who he is you wonder. A 21 year old new gen in my team who has played 114 games for us scoring 13 goals so far. Chace Johnston, i am in your debt. @StuniverseWheres my shoulder tap?

Pearomaniac
Seven matches left unti the end of the season and somehow i am still in the play off spot and it was wild up and down with the form but here i am, a play off contender this late in the season. My youth intake is in and it looks like a decent one, RB looks like it could have a lot of quality and i planned on signing a new RB, even had a deal fall through so maybe, just maybe next season i push the kid into fire of the first team and see how it goes. 6 years and 300 matches in charge of mighty AFC Wimbledon.
Pearomaniac
So yeah, we have secured a play of spot with three matches left in the season and i am not sure should i be happy for this. Pearomaniac
This is incredible, 90.000 people is going to watch AFC Wimbledon trying to push for the elite. Pearomaniac
They did it, these crazy bastards actually did it, they have beaten Reading with Andrew Dallas scoring his 30th goal of the season which was the only goal scored on the match. Oh my God, ****, what the hell am i going to do now? ****, this is way ahead of my schedule, waaaaay ahead, what are we going to do, someone help me. The match was crazy itself, we scored the goal in literally first action of the match and then i spent rest 89 minutes clenching my butthole every time Reading was approaching our goal. I cant say it was all Reading from the moment we scored, we had our chances but this was a hard match to watch. I have to take my hat off to my youth GK Aidan Power who i played as a starter since my first choice GK is considering his options at the end of contract, he might reconsider them now again. I really dont know what to say, i am happy that we are celebrating promotion to the elite but i am also so worried will we even survive in the PL. This put a slight smile on my face, huge increase in the transfer and wage budget. Praises are coming from everywhere.
Pearomaniac
This is it, i had two goals when i started this save and one of them was to return AFC Wimbledon back into the elite while other one i think is much harder and i need much stronger team if i even think of wining the FA Cup. Pearomaniac
SEASON 6 Review Time in charge: 5 years, 337 days. Before all, i have my new gen Chace Johnston wining the Young Player Of The Year award. Transfer of the season was Jamie Bowden, player i have played mostly on CMF as a deep lying playmaker and it worked out as a treat since he managed to get 12 assists, second best in the team. Also i managed to struck the deal at 200K while his value right now is around 6MIL Great success in the league and the promotion is the main talking point in season review, huge huge unexpected success this season. Some unforgetable moments, my personal favorite was match against Reading where i started my 16 year old striker A. Ellesley who scored two and broke the record for the clubs youngest scorer, previous record holder was M. B. Radmore, a player that was sold to PL side team for 10MIL. I dont understand this tho, prize money 0???? Isnt Championship final richest game in the world? Proud of this team which once more made a big mark in history. Player that is missing here is Marcus Ifill, AML which is the teams most prolific assister. Young Chace Johnston wins the hearts of the fans and wins both Young Player and Player Of The Season while Andrew Dallas was by far best scorer in the team with 30 goals. This would be it for this season, im going to bang my head and worry about the next one.

Pearomaniac
I have decided to reach into the bank and splash cash on some players. I thought defense is the place where we need to improve the most and beside that my first team GK and DC decided they do not want to renew contract with me after getting PL promotion. Logical. Overall they have all been payed 14MIL and the most expensive one being Ferry Owusu Sekyere, DR that i brought from Willem II for 6.5MIL while i am most excited for my CD Jonathan Vila who i have bought for 5.5MIL while Zekarias Alemu has been brought in for free. Preseason went well, we managed to play 6 matches and try out some of the new signings but i think i have brought to many players on camp so i havent managed to prepare them as much as i would like for the new season but ok, it was not bad. Pearomaniac
This is the player that is making my soul hurt. Mister William John Robert Nightingale, player which in his career has not stepped a foot outside of AFC Wimbledon, clubs faithful servant and record holder for most apps for the club and who has spent 17 years in the club is coming to an end of the career and regretably just cant hold on to the first team spot and it hurts my soul when i have to skip him in the selection and make him watch the match from the stands. Stuniverse
1 hour ago, Pearomaniac said: Anyone else getting emotionally attached to his players like this? @Stuniverse @Punch Yes, @Pearomaniac, it happens to me all the time. I get very loyal and sentimental to players who perform well for me. I remember an FM or two back, I had a player at Hibs who was fantastic in midfield for me and I took him with me to Celtic and then again to Sampdoria. At Celtic and Sampdoria my coaches and the fans didn't rate him at all, but he had high attributes in free-kicks, corners and penalty taking and he was always the club leader in assists by the end of the season. There are some players in my current save at Staveley Miners Welfare that I rate really highly and I'm sure can play much higher than the Tier 9 we're currently playing in. But, because they're not tied to a contract length, and can effectively leave and join another club at a moment's notice, I'm trying not to get too attached to them. As a Derby County fan, I also have a strong attachment to the players that have played well for The Rams and who I rate in real life. Good to hear I'm not alone in this. Pearomaniac
Premier League Season 1 Match #1 Man United HOME Although we lost we showed our fans there is a lot to be optimistic about, In the first half we played well, we were on even terms with Manchester, we had our fair share of chances and possession. Second half started even better, we had a great chance when A. Dallas played a beautiful low pass that split the defense open and got A. Pepple facing only the keeper in front of him but nerves got the better of him, baffling effort that sent the ball into row Z and as it usually goes in football we got punished and u see the final score. Moving on.

As a football fan tell me a better feeling then when your team scores a last minute winner! Tottenham controlled most of the match but just could not find the goal as my GK made fantastic 8 saves and by me it was him who deserved to be the MOTM but no, it was Dion Sanderson who scored a winner in the 96th minute, my CD placed a beautiful header behind the back of Spurs GK. Pearomaniac
Heres a bit of an rant. Do u know how difficult it is to renew contracts some of the players that have been with me for some time now. For example, Ayoub Assal is my winger and i have been forcing him on my first team since day one in the EFL League Two. As the time progressed and as we were getting promoted Assal asked for new contracts and eventually he got to a STAR contract which at that time it was somewhat deserved. Now, we are in the PL, i have better players on his position and in the team overall and it was time for him to ask for a new contract after we got promoted to the big boys lead. Heres the catch, he still thinks he deserves a STAR contract and doesnt even want to hear for anything less than that, same with George Marsh(DMF), Pauk Kalambayi(CD) and even Will Nightingale(CD) who has two star rating wants a Important Player contract. Worst thing is that all of this players are influential team members and they are affecting the team atmosphere. Please tell me @Stuniverse @Punch Is there any other way i could resolve this except terminating their contracts? U think sending them to the Reserves squad might do the trick?

Oh no, @Pearomaniac, what a predicament. Unfortunately, this does happen in real life. As a Derby County fan, I can think of two young players who came up through our Academy who, following promotion to the Premier League, thought they were bigger than the club and better than they actually were. There’s a number of ways to proceed here, depending on whether you want to try and keep the player or get them out of the football club. If you want to keep the player(s) then the only thing I can suggest is that you ride it out. Keep them in the first-team squad, keep them involved, keep playing them, keep praising their performances, training, conduct (without overdoing the praise) and see if they come round. From my experience, whatever the player’s grievance, more often than not he becomes happy again after a few months if playing regularly and the team is doing well. Over time, you may find that a player is prepared to accept a lower squad status, but this isn’t guaranteed and depends on the personality and characteristics of the player. The only real downside to this is if other players side with the unhappy player and things begin to escalate. Then, you just have to tough it out or look to offload the player. If you send the player(s) to the U21 / reserve squad, I’m not 100% sure, but I think this will remove them from your first-team dynamics which, at least, will prevent things escalating within your squad, but it will make the player(s) concerned even more unhappy and you won’t win them round while their out of the first-team squad. If you want rid of the players then you can try offering them to clubs, transfer listing them and offering them to clubs, or terminating their contracts (which could be quite a financial outlay and your Board may block it). There really is no coming back from that if you’re seen to be forcing a player out… although I have been able to tough it out and win the player round, but it’ll take a lot longer than just riding it out in the first place. I hope that helps. Good luck 🍀⚽️🤞 Edited February 5 by Stuniverse

I tried offering them to other clubs, i tried loaning them out but no one is interested since their wage demands is probably too high. I guess they will have to realize that whe they get released and when only clubs who are interested to sign them play in EFL League one or Championship at best
Pearomaniac
Remember this guy? I managed to strike a deal of 10mil for him and 30% from the next sale 2-3 seasons ago... Well i got nostalgic and was wondering what is he doing and i see he is being pushed in the Watford U21's so i bought him back for 20 mil and since i had a percentage from the next sale i got 6mil back from his transfer
