Thanks to the victory against Tahiti and Faroe Islands we were able to climb 1 position and become 209°

in Season 3 i will play a lot of Friendly that i use not only to test the players and the tactic, but also to help raise the ranking, i call these "Ranking Friendlies"

Ok i get that from the head of director.

But what do you do after 1 season because if you want them to stay you need to pay an amount of money for each match the first season you don't pay. Let them go or pay a little amount for each match?

And second question is how much salary budget do you have i only have 740 but my wage is over 1.000. I can go up to 120 for a match not mor but most of them ask 150 also som san marinees

I put all the transferbudget in the salary budget and ignored most of my players who were at the beginning in the club to get those better and cheaper free agents... my most expensive costs me 4030€ for the whole season which is easy to manage...

Using my free agents i never had a problem with missing the budgets. Yeah i went slightly in to the red in summer but with the Conference League money i'm richer than ever before

FC Domagnano/San Marino Season 2 Review

Competitions

We were very close to winning the title but lost on goal difference. I will still class this as progress though and I think we will win the title next season.

We did manage to win the European places play offs though. 

We also managed to win our first trophy when we won the Coppa Titano

Best Players

Our best player was our star striker Eric Fedeli who got 38 goals for the season.

 

Luca Sorrentino was our 2nd best player for the season with 27 goals and 16 assists.

Supporters profile stays the same by the looks of it but we did gain 17 more social media followers so at least there is that

MURATA - Season 23/24

Slight improvement in the league, managed to win the playoffs again giving us the Conference League qualification spot. 

Not a massive overhaul of the squad, ended up adding eight players throughout the course of the season and unfortunately lost star man Raul Ura in November.

Baldini the star man again but I have high hopes for Carlini who I poached from the San Marino Academy.

Again forgot to screenshot my youth intake but the two standouts are below and I expect them to be in the first team squad next season.

For those interested, Timo has uploaded his league database to the workshop, which contains the Italian leagues down to the 5th tier (Eccellenza), which makes Victor San Marino playable. They are in the Emilia-Romagna Group B.

I haven't done much testing yet myself, if anyone else has it would be great to know if this database is stable long-term.

I got Finnish side KuPS in the Europa Conference League 1st Round qualifying. 

They are tougher then the teams I played last season so I aint expecting us to get far in Europe. I am hoping I am wrong and my boys do me proud.

Virtus - Season 1 - 22/23

We won the league easily. Hopefully it will be the same again next season and maybe we can go undefeated and score 100 goals!

Picked him up when we had a few injuries, and he never looked back. Geat going forward and supplying the front 2.

Came across him in a scouting report and was fantastic. Its a shame that were losing him for next season.

Played 2nd fiddle but 21 in 24 is still very impressive. 

The main man kid! Put him straight in and never looked back. Was clinical for this level and I just hope we can keep hold of him.

Youth intake was ok. It's a massive shame that our best player is a goalkeeper as we already have 5 at the club! The rest are ok but the positions weren't the best. The lack of a youth squad for these players to stay/train/play friendlies is really depressing and I hate having 49 players in my main team. Does anybody know when/if we get a youth team?

San Marino is going terribly as expected. Haven't even looked like scoring, let alone getting a result. Oh well!!

Yeah as your team isn’t professional you can’t guarantee keeping a hold of your players unfortunately. 

sometimes if you offer the player a new contract they will choose to stay. But overall your best bet is to get the club turned professional when you can. That was you can sign the players to fill contracts.

Hiya folks, 

for anyone who hasnt started or wishes to start again with Victor San Marino in the proper Eccelenza league then I have added a link to the Steam database in the OP. 
 

Personally, I’ve probably put too much work in to the save with Victor in the Serie D so I’ll probably just stick with what I’ve started. Anyway - it will take around 2 seasons to create a decent serie D side so it’s not any benefit 😂

yeah you can try and hope or just replace them... players for this nonprofessional level are more than enough in range just ask your DoF and he brings you young players who are mostly better than the whole league

Changing Tactics

I was previously using a 4-4-2 Tika Taka nice passing tactic to try replicate Guardiola's Barcelona style but it only gets you so far and definitely doesn't work well against better European opposition so this season I have changed my tactics and it has paid off after I just beat KuPS 1-0 in the first leg of the Europa Conference qualifying.

I was very fortunate against KuPS who were all over me. 

They also got a player sent off and we got a penalty. 

I will still take the win though every time 

This is the tactic I use now.

but the apperance fees doesnt go 1:1 into the salary budget - my first goal is to turn professional then i have somesort of financial backbone cause i will be giarantied to win the league year by year to get european money to upgrade my facilities... Oh and in the early years try to avoid growing on players.... sounds a bit harsh buit in the early years they are just meat comming by to play for you and leave after the first better offer...

my plan is

1. Professional Football

2. Making the domnestic competitions my oyster

3. Improve squad and club

4. Maybe a new stadium

5 Attacking Europe in steps like get to groupstages repeatedly

I managed to draw 2-2 against KuPS in the home leg giving us a 3-2 aggregate win over them.

A nice bit of money added to the bank now.

Only £3.75m to go lol.

I got Moldovian side FC Milsami Orhei in the next round. I have no idea how good they are but it will be fun to try beat them and do better then I done last season.

European Dream Over For This Season

Started well with a 2-2 draw in the home leg but then we come unstuck losing 2-0 in the away leg. The opposition was just too strong.

Earnt some decent money from it though.

Getting a bit closer to the money we need to go profressional.

We now need to concerntrate on the league and make sure we win it this season.

JUVENES/DOGANA - SEASON 2 2023/24

After a great start in the league to a point that we were 1° at +3 points with a match less from the teams that followed, we got a HUGE crisis period that drop us to 9° place and i was one step from being sacked, since i lost in the Coppa Titano. the board this season wanted me to win all (League and Cup). 

Here are the results..  (+ the rankings of the Competitions for the next season)

I was able to get 2 SAN MARINO LEAGUE RECORDS

1- Bordignon Scored 33 Goals making him the Best Striker in the San Marino League History (he was on fire at the start of the Season to such a point that i thought he was gonna score 50 goals and make us win the Title)

2- We Beat the Record of scored goals in a season (68)

i was able to achieve the 4° place and win the European Play-Off so in Season 3 i will play in the European Competition for the first time

the competitions didn't improve yet...unfortunately

here is my coeff. + the small supporter increase we got

 

START OF SEASON 3 2024/25 - EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE

We got the FC Sarajevo from Bosnia and Erzegovina 

Unfortunately we didn't pass the round but i was happy with the results that we got

Home - a 2 - 4 loss, but at the end of the first half we were losing 0 - 3, so i was happy that we were able to get 2 goals that made the Bosnia's team fear a possible draw that at half time was miles away. the 1 - 1 away was exactly the type of match i was hoping for, but unfortunately we didn't got the second goal that would had made us go to extra time and maybe penalties. But overall i was really happy with out first european experience that gave us some money.

You'll get a new one as long as they are happy with your performance, I wouldn't worry about it.

You can enjoy VSM as a traditional LLM road to glory save, 5th tier to trying to win the Serie A/Champions League, and have the national team building in the background and as something to work towards after you complete the club side of things. 

SM League is different, you will be gruelling in the qualifications for Europe for a long time, trying to build up league rep, and getting the club professional etc., but I find that after long enough the league becomes a bit of a doddle and is just a timesink whilst you are waiting for European games to occur. But the end payoff of winning a European title with a team from the SM league is obviously much greater. 

It depends on what you like and what you are looking for.

I ran the San Marino league save, and did a quick check on the team Victor San Marino.   The same players delcared for San Marino in that save too.  The good news is, after the first influx of declarations (roughly 7), the random declaration stop.  (I just ran up VSM in the Serie Eccellenza Emilia), and roughly the same thing happened.  It is possible I suppose there is either a bug, or something specific to these players (it's the same 7ish players in 4 different saves now).  I didn't see anything in the pre-game database, but, as long as it doesn't progress any further, I'm happy with running the Serie E VSM team as my attempt this year.

Played terrible 3 days later. It wasn't helped by 2 player walking away as their contracts ended on the same day. Thought we had a chance but couldn't create anything with tired players.

Much needed money, but still a massive way off what we need.

on sunday the 11.02.2024 we crowned ourself the first time as champion in San Marino - This day will be remenbered as the day San Giovanni overtook the domnestic football and started to rule it like a dynastie

Conference League Run | Season 2

First up was Shkendija of North Macedonia. First leg at home we were the better team but couldn't capitalise and score. Thankfully we turned it around in the second leg and went through 3-2 earning another £86k.

A trip to the Faroe Islands was up next and we played pretty well. As per usual we lost 2 more first team players on the same day as the first leg so had to regroup, but thankfully still won. We were in complete contol of the 2nd leg until the 72nd minute when they got a penalty. After that their 2nd quickly came but we managed to shut up shop and hold on.

This proved to be a step too far. In truth the scoreline makes it look a lot closer than it actually was. The main thing is that we didn't disgrace ourselves and if we can have another year like this then we will be professional in no time. Speaking of....

Thanks to this run, this now leaves our finances looking like this.....

I imagine we will probably end up with a balance of £1.2/1.3m at the end of the season. The key now is to win the league again and qualify for the Champions League.

I’ve not been actively trying to figure it out mate. I checked the database when I first noticed it and the eligibility rules for San Marino are set as 15 years. So I’m unsure what’s causing it. All I did was swap VSM with a team from Serie D. So I didn’t alter any of the eligibility rules etc. 
 

its not game breaking for me particularly as it’s only happened with 3 players. It’s easy to remove or not include players in a national pool and also to not select them. Also I think it’ll stop happening when VSM go up through the leagues as the players will be higher rep and not offer to play for SM. 
 

I can’t say if it’s an issue with the Serie D database as I haven’t tested the Timo Eccelenza leagues.

TempteTempted do start this challenge. Also tried it last year, but I had some problems with to compose the national pool itself, and to designate the players to be called up by myself. And that ruined the joy of save for me. Can somebody explain this to me please?

SAN MARINO NATIONAL TEAM - UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE

It's time to do a review of what happened in the Nations League

We didn't end last in the group stage, which is the best results in San Marino History thanks to a BIG victory against Liechtenstein that we dominate 4 - 1 and the 2 draws against Liechtenstein and Lithuania. The match against Lithuania could had been the second victory and the biggest victory so far,  since i was in advance 2 - 0 but unfortunately they come back in the second half time.

Here is the SAN MARINO NATIONAL TEAM Ranking

We got a +3 positions in the ranks thanks to  the 1 Win and 2 Draws in the Nations League. In 3 Seasons we got up only of 4 position. We may be able to raise even more if this player decide to play with us. He is the Best San Marino Youth Intake so far, from the Benevento club in the Italian Serie A. He is 15 years and is already the best player of all the San Marino players i got in the National Team.

 Unfortunately he want to play for the ITALY NATIONAL TEAM instead of the SAN MARINO NATIONAL TEAM. Hope to convince him to change his mind.

JUVENES/DOGANA PRE-SEASON 3 2024/25

I got this italian striker to play up front alongside Bordignon (Our best player, Winger). He debuted in the first League match with a Hat-Trick and is helping us take the 1° place in the league, but unfortunately he played so well that a Italian team bought him and will transfer at the start of the mid-season transfer market

MURATA - Season 24/25

Another exit in the first quali round of the Conference League but we put up a good fight against Dinamo Tbilisi. My main aim for this season was to win the league.

We were fairly dominant all year, went 20 games unbeaten and were fairly unstoppable. The only game we failed to score in was the final league game of the season. We also won the cup for the first time in my career. 

The key men were undoubtedly our new star striker Duccio Campani and RW Eric D'Angeli. Also a mention to Federico Simoncini who joined midway through the season and was phenomenal up top with Campani.

FInances looking good for now as we make steady progress to turning the club professional. 

Only real player of note from the youth intake was this guy.
