Easily. Could replace Gundo at City in the summer if they don't get Bellingham.

Could play at any PL club.

Interested to see if anyone has been paying attention, or will they let him go under the radar like Bruno G did. He's the perfect Jan signing for us, really is

Lads, I am miles behind now with updating the squads in the OP. I will attend to this at some point today.

But if Wiki is up to date, then Ecuador, Iran, Mexico, Tunisia, Canada and Ghana look like the only ones we are still waiting for. Plus the added names to bulk out Denmark’s provisional squad of 21.

Fingers crossed we don’t see too many injuries in the last round of club games today and tomorrow. Missing out with a known problem is bad enough. Can’t inagine how gutting it must be pulling out after the squad has already been announced and you’ve already got your travel details and stuff.

Did we (did I) miss South Korea?

Squad of Qatar:

Their whole squad play in Qatar. If only the whole Brazilian squad played in Brazil...

haven't got a clue who any of those players are so I guess it'll be a treat discovering them

Lot of quality in that Canada squad. Could be a dark horse in their group.

Sorry, but...which quality? Compared to even Morroco.

Obviously underdogs can surprise way easier in NT football, but other than Davies and David, not a single player would even make Croatia or Belgium squad.

Quote

Wonder if Argentina regret not calling up Garnacho.

Yeah, they didn't even call up Angel Correa, but they'll regret Garnacho.

The Canadian attack with Davies, David and Larin (who hasn't quite settled in Belgium yet but has been on fire for Canada) will be a huge threat. Eustáquio has been in great form for Porto too and Herdman has got them working as a cohesive unit which will cause problems for other teams.

Saudis have replaced Fahad Al-Muwallad with Nawaf Al-Abed as well.  Something to do with a doping scandal, looks like they thought Al-Muwallad would be OK to play but now WADA are appealing his ban being overturned or something.  Sounds like they don't want to risk him in the squad in case they can't use him when push comes to shove.

Yes and no.  Ochoa is in a fifth squad but only played in two out of his previous four tournaments.  Unused sub in 2006 and 2010.

touché

Rafa Marquez still is the Mexican goat imo

League representation

Premier League  - 134 (Lower Tiers 29)

La Liga - 83 (Lower Tiers 3)

Bundersliga - 78 (Lower Tiers 3)

Serie A - 67 (Lower Tiers 3)

Ligue 1 - 56 (Lower Tiers 2)

Saudi Pro League - 33 (Lower Tiers 2)

Odd how Saudi's have called up 2 players from lower tier when their top league is pretty much 80% Saudi players
