World Cup 2022 Predictor

Gizzy what have you been drinking?

I say this as an Aussie, there is absolutely no chance Australia get out of the group stage, we have no attack so will not be able to score any goals and the defense is lacking quality while the midfield is nowhere near good enough. The only player we have who plays in a top 5 league, Adjin Hrustic, is going to miss the world cup through injury. Aaron Mooy is probably our best player and he only plays for Celtic.

And I almost forgot to say our coach Graham Arnold is a terrible coach who will not only not pick the best side, but will also fail to get the best out of the team he does select.

Isn't Gizzy Scottish tho? He can't be seen predicting England winning if so

I’ve lived in Scotland since I was 5, but no I’m English. Especially when it comes to football.

Don’t particularly care for international football though, bit pointless in this day and age. But would like England to win with Rashford being player of the tournament.

Reckon we'll be out in the quarters - finishing 1st means we likely get France, 2nd Argentina, both of whom are better

They'll be no problems;).  It'll be the Swiss in the semi finals where we'll come a cropper.

Yeah, seems like the right side of the draw can get really easy relatively to the left side.

I really expect us to beat Belgium because they've been really unconvincing and now Lukaku is also most likely out. Even if he does play, he'll be in his MUTD form.

Then there's group D. Pogba and Kante are out, with Denmark being a great team. They outplayed France in Nations League and I think the same will happen in the World Cup.

Which leads us to draw that looks easy on paper.

Imo, Germany-Croatia, Portugal-Serbia  and whoever progresses are all 50-50% matches if they happen, can go either way.

Same goes for Spain-Brazil and Brazil-Argentina if it happens.

Can't shake the feeling that Portugal should've been the favorite of the right side of the draw if they fired Santos on time.

As for the groups, the only changes I can see happen are Poland-Mexico, Ecuador-Senegal, Uruguay-Ghana and Serbia-Switzerland-Cameroon triangle, which is the only great group, imo.
