Anyone played on steam deck? Got a 64gb deck arriving in a few days, just wondering how well fm runs on it.

It works fine apart from bringing the on screen keyboard up doesn't let you type into search boxes.

 

Performance wise its fine, ive probably 30+ hours of the beta played on deck.

Update us on both the Football Manager experience and generally. I've been looking at one, but can't convince myself to pull the trigger just yet.

To get the keyboard up use the keyboard within the 3 dot button (right side menu button on the Steam Deck), the keyboard is at the bottom of that menu. There are key bind workarounds you can use as well to resolve the problem, however, the way above works fine for me. I've a Man City save going between my laptop and Steam Deck and its excellent.

Copied all my graphics and stuff over too.

Really pleased with how Fm runs on the machine, got stuck in to my first save this morning and really enjoying it.

Have only played fm on it so far, but it runs perfectly, far better than how it runs on my laptop. The device itself is great, essentially just a mini pc.
