Best Postition Score & Best Role Score don't match???

I have been looking around my Mannhiem team on the Editor and I have noticed that some of my players best positions scores and best roles scores dont match up.

I have a player who is 20 for LB and LWB but his best role score is 95 as a Wide Midfielder (all roles) despite him only scoring 14 for the midfielder left position

I also have a player who is 20 for CB but his best role score is as a DM Defend (97) with the next closest being Central Defender on Defend at only 62

Not sure how that makes sense and which would be the best for go for, best role or position???
