Welcome to Luka's World Regional Leagues

This is a fictional database for people that enjoy fictional scenarios.

(sorry for my english)

 

After playing Football Manager for several years now, I grew tired of being forced to reduce the amount of leagues I should load for every game (sometimes because my computer wasn’t fast enough, sometimes because I got bored of the game repeating the same scenarios over and over again).

I wanted a dynamic World where every nation could provide big names and every club could fight and win the most wanted prizes and competitions out there.

So, with that in mind I created this World Regional Competition. The world is split in 16 major zones and every club represents a city. I tried to include every major city in each continent.

But that wasn’t enough. I also wanted one continental and one world competition so any club could potentially celebrate a treble.

 

Let me introduce you to my Fictional Database Twitter's FIFA Nation:

There are a total of 16 regions. Each region is sponsored by a large corporation from one of the countries represented there, and each region consists of 40 clubs (cities) distributed in 4 groups of 10 (every club plays the others twice) with a regional final bracket where two teams qualify for the world finals.

Here I must make a special mention. Brennan won the World Cup for Ireland! One of the first legends of my game.

Those are all the regional leagues. Only 2 teams from each region qualify for the World Finals.

But there is another chance to qualify for the World Finals in the season:

 

The Continental Competitions

There are four continental competitions, one for each continent (America, Europe, Asia and Africa).

The winner of each cup also qualifies for the world finals later in the year.

The Twitter’s World Finals

Here all qualified teams from the previous tournaments play in a single bracket to reach the top of the world and to close the season.

As you can see, I’m a sucker for awards. I think they are the only way to customize players and make each game feel unique.

I recommend playing this database with random players names. I edited all players to have the same fixed CA but dynamic PA, so each game will always feel different, and each game the top clubs will always differ.

If you want an enhaced experience, I recommend you to play with Nick33's and Rob's fantastic award packs.

 

This Database gives me everything I want from the game. A global scene with regional and continental competitions where almost every country is included. A lot of awards to make each player feel unique. A very competitive scenario with potentially powerful teams in every league and region. Every season feels and plays different, you have a lot of steps to achieve a place in the World Finals. A lot of surprises (in my save Ireland won the World Cup and the Confederations Cup, and an African club won the Worlds Finals, etc). And it's enough light weight to load in my ****** laptop.

I forgot to mention: If you like to have ALL continental awards like me, you should load at least one country from each continent as playable.

Only if you want Continental Awards on your save (because you need to load at least one country for each continent). They are not really necessary.

If that's not your case, the file works for itself with the complete structure.
