Can’t use the team I edited

Hey guys, please can you help?

I’ve just bought FM22 and edited my favourite team but now when I go to play as them, regardless whether it is a quick setup or advanced, literally the only team I cannot use is that team!! They are greyed out and I cannot select them.

Why is this and how can I get round it?

it would suggest that something has gone wrong in your editing, and therefore the team is now unusable as it is broken.  What did you change?

Go into Advanced Setup, and make sure the box next to "Prevent control of teams with managers in place" is NOT ticked.

I’ve done that but it still does it. I even tried removing the teams manager through the editor but I couldn’t even apply for the job!!

It was Torquay so reputation, money, sponsorship, stadium size, season tickets, etc. made them everything they’re not. Lol!!

Must’ve been something I did in the edit. I redid the edit and it’s working now. Thanks for your help guys!!
