The current maximum capability value is 20. How about making the maximum capability value 21? However, 21 is the only thing that cannot be achieved through effort that allows geniuses to achieve by nature. I am not disparaging the efforts of geniuses such as Messi and Ronaldo, but their status is clearly something that cannot be achieved by effort alone. Messi's dribble or sense of balance cannot be achieved by effort alone. How about granting an unapproachable competency value of 21 for players with such enormous talent in a particular area (only endowed by nature and not reachable by acquired effort).

Is that not what flair is to a degree? Adds in a wild card multiplier to stats in game?

I'm afraid this isn't something we'd be looking to implement, but that said, we do have a number of suggestions in play as to how to improve the attribute system as a whole.
