LeoFreire98
I want to create a giant national cup, with 1000 brazilian teams, i was thinking in something like that: in the preliminary stage, 488 teams: 108 out of 112 teams at the 11° division (exclude the 4 worst seedings) all 128 teams of 10° division all 128 teams of 9° division 124 out of 128 teams of 8° division(exclude the 4 best seedings)This will result in a draw of 244 matchers between them, the winner qualifies for the first round. First round: The 244 winners of preliminary stages join the rest of 268 teams in the country for a traditional Cup, from the 512 teams till the Final. How can i do that in the editor? Advanced Rules pls. thx guys Edited June 18, 2022 by LeoFreire98

The one thing I am missing in your screenshots is that the winners of the previous round are also added to the round. What I would expect would be Preliminary Stage 108 out of 112 teams at the 11° division all 128 teams of 10° division all 128 teams of 9° division 124 out of 128 teams of 8° division(exclude the 4 best seedings) First round Winners of preliminary stage All teams from Serie A, B, C, D, E, F, G (if those are the remaining 268) What looks like you are doing now is repeating the H, I, J, K teams in the next round as well, but you only need the winners of that round, no matter which group they came from. Fredrik
Seedings for round 1 are 512 teams, the same number as in the whole round but that leaves no room for the winners of the prel.round. I disagree a bit with what wolfpd says. With exactly 1000 teams it would be like this: Prel.round 976 teams First round 24 teams entering 488 teams qualified via prel.round. Then pretty much no seeding for first round(except Serie A and a few teams in Serie B). Whether that is what you want is another question.

My point was only that I didn't see any winners from the preliminary round.
LeoFreire98
i fixed it a couple of days ago, but a specific team from the Serie F(6 tier) doesnt enter the competition, dont know if its a bug or if it is a "club vision" not to play cups lol, doesnt even know if its exists

Fredrik
I'm not particularly good with seeding either but IMO you need to first consider which teams you want to separate. You also should think about whether you want to seed each round or the tournament as a whole. I usually seed the tournament as a whole. If you do want to seed round and it's higher and lower divisions then I think you should just put the upper half of divisions in the Seeding for Round. If it's Serie A and B then you just put these in the Seedings etc. I see in your first example that you set seeding on all teams but I think this way is just a repeat of what is under Teams. Btw, I have never tried this one and am not sure it's something you need or want but in case you didn't know it:
LeoFreire98
i dont know if i am very idiot or if this editor is ****ed up, look guys Obs: all this teams counts to 112 + 128 + 128 +128+ 128+ 128 + 64 + 20 + 20 = 984 Campeonato Brasileiro = 20 teams + 492 qualifieds from round before = 512, correct?
