End Of Season Review 2021/22 - Stats

 

We made the first step.

Now the hard part starts in Premier League.

After Bournemouth failed to get promoted, Mepham got transfer listed.

I said Mr. DoF to go for it.

We got competition in Aston Villa.

 

We need a striker which is PL ready.

Mr. DoF is thinking the same and there is a Pukki on the transfer list.

Should be a solid option.

It was only a matter of time.

Its fine, this money will get us 1-2 big transfers.

Iago doing really well for me at Lyon and I think you will struggle to get a work permit for Lucca but I hope you do as he is awesome.

Yeah he should do well initially for you but maybe as you progress up the league you might want to sell him on as his potential is limited. He would be good for a lower mid table Prem team but if you get into Europe I would look for an upgrade.

We switch to the 4312 and its worked pretty well so far.

Amazing start to the season. We stole one point at Anfield!

Shomurodov is pretty damn good so far.

Deadline day stuff.

I was looking at Shelvey the entire summer and the fee dropped slowly from 6 mio to now 2,1 mio.

I already arranged the transfer 3 weeks ago, but we had no enough money.

 

Now we got a nice injection from the board and Mr. DoF did it by himself this time.

I mean its a decent DLP.

The DoF cant make any proper loan deals.

So I did that myself.

We needed another striker option with can play DLP/F9.

So far our defense is looking solid, if I ignore the fiesta against Blackburn.

The 4312 is working, not perfect but its ok.

Transfers & Squad - Summer 2022

OUT

Big clearout mostly the u23.

One big sale...Massengo to Leeds.

 

IN

Overall Im happy with the transfer window.

I think we got improvements in all position and just better depth.

 

I wanted a 2nd big striker, but Lucca (Pisa) and Andone (Brighton) failed the work permit.

 

Decent size squad.

 For the first half of the season I will try 4312 and see how we do.

If it fails, we buy 1-2 wingers in the winter and switch back to 4231.

 

I will not go into a deep squad overview, since is only 2022 and the players look pretty much the same.

Talking about Lorenzo Lucca.

He went for 7,25 mio to Switzerland!

 

This could be a chance for us in Winter or the next summer.

Tough game vs Burnley in the EFL Cup.

But we got the better end in the penatly shootout.

 

Championship side Bournemouth in the next round.

Two late goals from super sub Maja.

 

We are in the League Cup semi final! Leeds are pretty strong, so this should be the end.

Finally some Premier League quality at GK and RB position.

Alvaro got relegated with Huesca, so he was pretty cheap. Almost signed him in the summer.

Kristensen wasnt really used at Bayern, so he was unhappy.

Really rough month. Hopefully we can turn this around.

Its time for a DoF switch.

Zuberbühler started well, but last winter he frustrated me.

He kept buying more central mids or left backs, where we got enough players.

Idk if he personality effects something as DoF, but he is an improvement in all other points.

Next season I want to use my 442.

And I hope the 3 1/2 reputation will effect things too.
