My B team has been promoted, but I cant use my actual B team

So, my B team in my Sparta Prague save has been promoted to the Czech Second Division. After their first two games, I noticed that they only used two of my actual B team players, and the rest were “fake” players. I checked the squad rules for the 2nd Division, and it said that B Teams can only have two first team players in the 18 man match squad. 
 

The thing is, none of my B team players are in the senior squad, they’re all assigned to the B team. But, the game treats them as senior squad players because they’re all under 22 years old, meaning they don’t have to be registered for the senior squad. 

Is this a bug, or is the game just being stupid? None of these players play for the senior squad, they’re a bunch of 17-19 year old Eastern European kids. But the games like “NO NO NO, THOSE ARE SENIOR SQUAD PLAYERS!!!!!”. 

Has anyone else had this issue?
