Promises

I know there's plenty of scope for development regarding promises, but one simple one just occurred to me: soft vs firm.

Anything a player infers from remarks at a press conference have no business being regarded as firm promises, for instance. Players asking for more playing time, I'd generally want to accommodate them, not least because my AMs usually have funny ideas about who should be picked and who shouldn't, and good players can and do get left out more often than they should. Still, it isn't always possible, so that's a soft promise. If I agree to sell a player, that's a firm promise.
