Forfeit

This is not a feature request and should be raised in the relevant Bugs forum- it is hard to understand, however how there can possibly have been 33 yellow cards and 12 red cards in one game and the fixture in the second match would suggest an edited database.  Are these examples form the same save as they are in different languages?

To be clear on the forfeit aspect - it isn't something currently supported in game. Whilst we know it's a rule IRL, however the amount of coding and testing that would be required to bring this into the game (not just it happening, but all the various consequences of it happening - the post-match reaction/press conference, punishment,  points etc) is quite significant and given how rare it is for this to happen, it's not something we're looking to add at this time. It's in the features db and when we have the time and resource to add consider adding it, we may well do so. It's just low priority for the time-being.

I don't like that you spent more time forcing the ME to avoid these situations than resolving it as it should.

We don't force the match engine to avoid certain situations. In real life the type of situations where teams have less than seven players on the pitch is extremely rare. The same is the case for the match engine in Football Manager. It's not forced, just a representation of real life like everything else in the engine.

Would be interested to know if the situation which happened in your save happened with default settings, or whether you used some kind of edited db with changes that make this type of situation more likely. Thanks.
