Work permit options

Hi @Wolf_pd how are you mate

just wondering if you can shed some light on the options for work permits, I am looking to make English clubs not sign so many foreign players

just wanted input on differences UK points system

and the Australian option boosts UK players

also I have forgotten what the threshold values do - is a low number harder to get a permit or harder

I would suggest googling them. I can't say I know how they work, although my idea is that higher treshold is harder. 

The UK system (original) is the one from before Brexit. Alternative 1 and 2 are two of the alternatives that have been discussed before the current version was agreed upon.

No idea about the Australian one, that one might have been tweaked so Australia gets a bit more influx of UK players that are no longer going to mainland Europe (a flow that was already quite limited tbh).

yes its on that line that I am trying to balance things as you know the EPL is too powerful and imposing stricter rules is what I want to do

also I am trying to get clubs in all the big leagues having to pick mostly home nation players in their squads this works to an extent, but it still doesnt stop the big clubs purchasing 'foreign' players, the work permits may cover this

what would your suggestion be from the options as the hardest one to get a permit

and setting the threshold to be high the range is a tad crazy 0 - 50000

From the link I posted I am looking at something like 15 points.

No idea what kind of calculation is behind 50K then.

I would say picking % of last international matches to begin with. It is the toughest of the top 6.

Potential ability is another ability, although that will mean English teams end up hoarding the best PA's overall which is necessarily the best solution. % of first team played in is another good one as you force the team to play a foreign player or lose the work permit.

yes mate that immediately was my assessment too - it would probably be worse than it is now

FYI  that range  of 0-50000 IMO just refer to one of the options I am yet to find which one though

if you select 50000 in that box in game it reads it as 50000% of available games [so one way of stopping any foreign player being signed lol ]

if you do this then game reads it as 50% - the devs  just need to  change that range that appears as a option 0-50000
