markoconnell
Hey all, just can’t wrap my head around the two. I get that the player will tight mark/trigger press the opposition when they enter his ‘zone’ set on Individual Instructions but what about when set the Opposition Instructions? Thanks! TI / PI = the player will tightly mark whoever will enter their zone of defensive responsibility OI Position = whoever is playing in this position will be tightly marked by whoever is defensively responsible for that area OI Player = that specific player is always tightly marked, no matter of his playing position, by whoever is defensively responsible for the tone he is playing in. So the main difference is that TI / PI defines a general playing style for your team / player, while OIs allow you to target a specific opposition player who might be incapable to play around a tighter marking or to target a specific position that you don’t want to allow much space.
