I think we got a really nice start to the season here.

We should start with 3 wins and then we got two big ones.

Transfer & Squad Overview - Summer 2022 Part 1

 

Really busy transfer window. Im almost happy, I couldn't find the CB I wanted.

But we made some great deals.

 

OUT

Sold a lot of tier 2 material for some nice money.

 

IN

The Mangquillo deal was already, when I took over.

 

We got some nice free ones, which will help us this season.

The Hoffenheim legend Klauss is a slighly worse copy of Haller, so he fits perfectly.

I expect Konan to be better, thats why he got loaned out again.

William is a nice option at RB, he is already doin well.

Luca Sangalli is good B2B option, he also already settle in pretty nicely.

 

Yes...its Gareth Bale! He isnt finished with the football.

Do I really need him? No. But why the hell not. 

He is doin well. Just in case we got an "Injury Clause" in his contract.

 

Two Deadline day signings.

We needed a 3rd keeper, so Martinez is a decent deal.

And since I wasnt happy with Konan, we got Plattenhardt in. He should do the job for 2 years and he fits our playstyle perfectly.

 

The big one this summer is....the Czech wonderkid Adam Hlozek!

He is already showing his potential and Levante can be his stepping stone for bigger things.

Aitor is a decent keeper and he currently still does the job.

Two cheap backups behind him in Josep and Dani.

Not really happy here. Im happy with Vezo, but his partner could be better

Kempf is decent, but we can do better here.

The wingbacks are on a decent level. If Hlozek wasnt here, they would be all 0,5* better.

Im curious about Plattenhardt, hopefully his 16 crossing goes well with Haller/Klauss at the front.

We managed to keep Bardhi, he wasnt even mad when I rejected a 20 mio offer Milan.

Morales legs are starting to fall off, so he moves into the AMC spot now.

Really happy with the wings. 

Hlozek is already doing pretty well and Bale still got it.

But Bale with transition slowly into the AMC spot, since he is losing his speed.

Klauss will be his backup.

I decided to trigger the extension of Soldado. He still looks decent and can also cover the AMC spot.

I didnt expect those results tbh. The team does really well.

 

And with those results we are somehow top of the league. Real and Atletico are struggling at the moment.

Idk what to expect for the entire season.

Its World Cup 2022 season, we got the advantage of no CL/EL games.

Finally after 6 months delay...I got the CB I wanted in the summer.

I rate Vallejo pretty high, he always does the job.

Idk I never lliked him, ingame it always looked that he made the mistake.

The AI bought him before I took over for 6,75 mio and now we even made a slight profit.

Mangala had great 12 months for us.

He would be still a decent backup, but I think its save to say that we play in Europe next season.

So I need a bit more homegrown talent like Vallejo.

Really tough game against Bilbao.

They currently 19th, sacked their manager and the new one is trying to survive.

Beat Real, drew Barca and lost only to Sevilla. Great month.

If Barca win their game in hand, its a head to head race.

 

Coming Up

I really would love to get into the cup final, Getafe should be possible.

And the end of Febuary we got Atletico at home.

I think this is an amazing steal. Only 3 mio with those wages and those stats.

After 50 league games we pay another 5 mio,. which sounds fair, if we can keep up the progress.

Pablo Mari will be the much need rock to Vezo.

On the first sight...why? But in FM22 you can do that.

Yes Mertens is 35 y/o, but look at those physicals.

He isnt really knowning for beein injury prone, its January 2023 and he had only a shoulder injury so far.

With Bale needing a some breaks, Mertens will be the perfect player for us.

4,5 mio over 3 years., but if we qualify for the CL, its whatever.
