Hello and Welcome to my new save idea.

This save will be played next to my China save with breaks. 

 [FM22] Project 11 Out Of 1.3 Billion - Bulding A Nation With Shanghai Shenhua & China

 

We all know the Glory Hunter Challenge form Doctor Benjy.

The aim is to win the league + cup in England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany.

Also winning the CL + EL and win the World Cup + Euros

All in 20 years.

After a slight break...lets restart this badboy. 

But I let STVV in the vault...Im sick of the European football.

 

Welcome To Egypt!

Yes, there is a club called Coca Cola FC!

Our should I say "there was"...

The club got got bought and got renamed....

 

The goal is still the same:

But hopefully we can do it with the best African talents we can find.

 

Why Egypt?

The WE League is one of the best leagues in Africa.

 

Also the got a pretty intereseting foreign rule:

Only 4 Foreign spots, but players from North Africa dont count as foreign.

So we got free access to players from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.

I think we all love to develop players and this is what this save is all about.

Find and develop players and then sent them to the "big leagues"

 

Once a player, who played for us atleast one season (starting in 2021/22), got a milestone in his bio, this objective is finished.

 

We are goin to Belgium.

Why Belgium? I never really managed in Belgium, maybe 2-3 season.

And they got a pretty relaxed registration system.

And for this journey I picked a pretty interesting club in my eyes.

 

I got a soft spot for Asian football, so this club culture fits me perfectly.

Sint-Truidense got a Japanese board and got already couple of Japanese players in the team.

 

Our manager will be Hidetoshi Nakata 

Guidelines For Me:

- Sign & develop Asian talents (maybe I bring in some Americans too)

- Sign & develop domestic players, because of the registration of cause

- Dont spent crazy money, max. 10 mio for a single transfer (comes close to the record fee in BEL)

- Have Fun!

We got a pretty big and unbalanced squad for the playstyle I want to bring in.

I want to play exactly as I do in the China save, to see if this works also in Europe.

A depth overview will like always come once the windows closes.

 

And yes, thats Shinji Kagawa.

We are also not the best team in the league.

I loaded up all the vanilla Asian DBs + this collection https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2650239104

This covers the top leagues in Asia.

But I dont use a Japanese DBs, because those DBs can mess up everything combined with other DBs.

The season opener will be tough, but then we a nice home game with hopefully our first three points.

We only played 2 games, but the team is looking good.

And we inherited a really nice striker in Filippov.

Transfer & Squad Overview - Summer 2021 Part 1

 

OUT

There previous manager played with 3 ATB so I needed to get rid of some Cbs and get some CMs.

We made almost 2 mio transfer profit, which is perfect for our finances.

 

IN

We re-invested roughly 650k to get a balanced squad.

We got two new B2B options in Haye...and we got Mr. Sook in from my failed Thai save in!

Then we found a really nice RB/CM option in de Medina. We pay a big loan fee for him, but we also got an option to buy him.

And on deadline day I signed one of my boys  

Ekanit Panya for 30k is an absolut steal. I had to do it.

Goalkeeper

The keeper position is fine for the moment. Schmidt will be our main guy this season.

This will need an upgrade in the next season.

The rest Im not happy with it, all 3 options hates big matches, which I absolutely hate.

Im happy with the wingsbacks, we got two offensive and two defensive options.

Cacace, which I will count as Asia, because of the A-League, which will be hopefully our first big sell next sommer. He looks really really good.

de Medina will share equal game time with Bauer.

Haye and Sook will share the B2B spot and De Ridder and our biggest talent Delorge the DLP spot.

Haye is partially Indonesian.

The AP spot will be all in Asian hands.

I edited Kagawa to Sint-Truiden before the start of the save in the pre-game editor.

Yes he joined in late October in IRL, but doesnt it really matter?

His back up will the former Barca talent Lee.

 

Hopefully I can add another legendary Japanese AP soon.

Really really nice month.

Filippov is banging goals and Kagawa is not finished.

October 2021

We are playing really really well, the team fully adapted my idea of football.

We beat top of the tabel USG and got a draw against Zulte.

 

The league is still looking pretty close.

Genk will be a tough one.

OHL and Kortrijk should be 6 points.

Filippov cooled a bit off, so Hayashi got his chance and he is scoring.

Sadly Miura isnt in game for me, since I didnt used a custom DBs for Japan at the start.

Perfect timing, then this gentleman got transfer listed.

Suzuki will moved up to the striker position and Sarachet will share with Panya the left IF spot.

No chance in the cup games agaist Brugge, but we got a point in the league!

Also no chance against a strong Gent.

 

We finish the year on a really good 6th place.

Overall this league is so tight and competitive, if you exclude the bottom four.

Tough away game against Anderlecht.

Also we were 2 mio in the red, now we added roughly 1,6 mio to the balance

After the winter break and reinforcements the team is on fire.

We won in Anderlecht, but they destroyed Kagawa in that game....

Pretty bad loss vs Cercle, but a nice games vs Zulte and Royal Antwerp.

Honda fills in for Kagawa perfectly, Not as flashy, but he always get a solid 7.2+

The start of the month is Sarachat, after 2-3 games he is producing tings.

Okazaki sadly didnt score a goal, but he is doin well.

UFF..USG, Oostende and Genk.....

This might be 3 losses.

CIncinatti came in with an offer of 900K. I said double or leaved it and they accept it.

In the summer I wanted to sell Bauer anyways, since he doenst fit our theme.

Now we got a tight squad for the next 3 months, hopefully nobody gets injured in the defense.

Two really close losses against USG and Genk. In both games we deserved atleast one point.

But we destroyed Oostende and Kagawa played his first 30 minutes of football again...he scored 2 goals!

 

The league is still pretty close between 3rd and 6th.

 

Coming Up

The last two games of the regular season against bottom table sides.

We should get into the "Champions Playoff".
