After the failure of the Thailand save...here we go again.

We are goin a bit to the north and try the big one.

 

Project 11 Out Of 1.3 Billion ..... China

The target is to win the World Cup by 2050.

 

Over the past years the rules in the CSL has changed.

The times are over, where teams can buy old, high reputation players.

Its now back to concentrate on the Chinese players and....

....young foreign players.

6 foreign players are allowed, but you can pay them only 10 Mio per year in total.

This should be interesting.

The team I choose for this project is Shanhai Shenhua.

They got decent facilities, I think the got the 4th or 5th best in the leaugue.

 

Also it was the first team I what a game back when Drogba was there.

  

Shenhua got a nice 5 year plan, which I like.

 

 

Money should be a problem, so we can hopefully can max the facilites as soon as possible.

The team is decent.

The foreign players are much better then the Chinese, once so 2 stars are good player.

 

Mierzejewski I will sent back, once I can.

We can still qualifiy for the World Cup 2022, but we got 2x KSA and 1x South Korea left, which are pretty hard.

China I still want to do one of these saves, though I am a bit scared I'll drop one or both saves if I decide to do this, if I did I would most likely do Suwon in South Korea

Preseason 2021

 

Transfers IN

We had roughly 2 mio to spent and also 2 foreign spots open.

 

Shaylon is a decent wing option. I cant see him be a future NT player, but he looks like a good investment. 

Rickson is also a decent option for the midfield, cheap wages and only on loan here.

Wei Shihao was listed by Guangzhou and he is a quality chinese player. Really nice transfer in my eyes.

And Huang Wei is a backup CB, since I dont want to play a converted striker as CB.

Decent team, lets see what we can do.

 

Friendlies went decent. The team is able to play how I want.

 

The first two games of the season are pretty easy, if all thing goin the right way.

Decent start to the season.

Unnecessary draw against Henan...90th minute equalizer...

 

And....I didnt read the registration rules correctly...so we play with a gray U23 LB.

As expected...we had no chance. A couple of Brazilians doenst do sh*t.

 

At this point we need a miracle to get 3rd.

Huge draw vs South Korea!

I switch to my trusted 424 and we played really well.

 

Also Iran f*cked up against Usbekistan, so the unexpected point is even more worth.

They also need to play against KSA and South Korea, so we still got a chance.

Kuwait beat Australia..

...and Vietnam BEAT Japan.

We did our homeworks. Elkeson with a brace.

 

Some really important ones...then Uzbekistan BEAT KSA!

Oh boi! We got a real chance now to get 3rd.

Club legend Moreno signed a new deal.

Not only that, he accepted a pay cut from 5 mio p/a to 3 mio p/a.

He doesnt help us to archiv our goal, but if somebody spending almost 10 year at the club, you need to respect that.

The team is slowly gettin used to my playstyle and what I want from them.

 

We are on a really nice 4th place.

Guangzhou and Port are struggling which is a huge suprise in my eyes.

5 years as per usual, but the player needs to learn Chinese.

Some players doesnt care or fail to learn it, so this could be an interesting unknown factor.

No problem against Shenzhen in the cup.

The semis are played with two legs.

Almost a perfect month...Taishan is too good.

It looks like we can secured a top 4 finish this season and play in the CL next season.

Huge month.

Kim Shin-Wook is a machine, thats why he got a new deal until 2022.

The entire team is playing really well.

 

In the league we closed the gap to Guoan.

6 games to go, there is still a small chance.

This game day was so intense...not really our game, we got our draw.

But South Korea almost sh*t the bed against Uzbekistan.

 

 

Uff this last game day will be so intense. The group is sorted by goals differents.

So we need to beat Uzbekistan and KSA need to beat Iran.

A 4 goal difference should be possible to turn around.

Youth Intake 2021

Really great 1st intake! Already one elite talent.

Not that bad. The top 3 player will be part of our team next season.

Its almost perfect the positions they got.

At LW we playing with a Wei Shao, so he can finally get some rest.

And we had no real RB backup, so Xu Feng will get some time.

First intake is all Chinese.

We got our first players from other provinces too.

Hunan and Jiangxi are on the list.

 

Note: China is political a tough topic. I put the 4 provices/countries a bit seperated. And thats all I will say to that.
