Stevo_99
Am I the only person who has noticed that FA Cup draws and league cup draws are unofficially seeded as the competition progresses to allow the bigger Premier League clubs a home draw against lower league opposition. I noticed it in last years version too. It prevents lower league clubs having a good cup run and totally spoils managing in the lower league Surely someone else has noticed, I am baffled the game designers haven't fixed it. Are you really suggesting that the game coders have deliberately fixed a randomly computer generated cup draw?
Nacaw
It's actually way more beneficial to get an FA cup away draw for lower league sides, since you split the gate receipts. Even a League 1/2 team will love playing Utd away, despite losing 6-0. Sorry to ruin your little conspiracy theory, but anyone with LLM experience should know that.

forameuss
Now this is a perfect example of a "bug" that could be pretty easily documented and proved out as being a bug prior to ever reaching SI. Load England, save prior to the 2nd round, then holiday through to the 3rd round, note and repeat. That would provide some compelling evidence for it being as you say. What's that? You've got none of that? Colour me unconvinced.

No, you dont understand my point clearly. It is a clear mistake in the game and it was present on last years edition. I had an eleven year save which could prove it. In the latter stages of the FA Cup and league Cup and FA Trophy if i recall correctly, the higher ranked/division sides would always draw a lower division side when possible. This meant it was impossible for lower league teams to have a proper cup run. Anyone who has a long term save in the English leagues can find this out. FrazT
If you are saying that the draw is unofficially seeded, then you are saying that the code has been written like that. You are saying that in the 3 competitions that you mention the higher ranked teams always draw a lower ranked team in a home tie. Since it appears that you are the only user to notice this, and you feel that it is a clear and obvious error, then you would be best to report it with all the evidence required to enable the developers to check it. Does your girlfriend from the other school that we wouldn't know have it? You said it happened "in last year's version too", so it's happening in 22? Go on then, present your evidence.

No-one has noticed because it does not exist.
RealSmokePL
I've checked the rules in the editor and there's nothing that confirms your 'argument'. It's an random draw from what I'm seeing.
kentonizking
I'm an LLM guy. Spent sooooo much time in the lower leagues, on all recent versions. Clocked in some decent hours on 22 too. This is nonsense
